Should Stronghold PvP Tasks Give a Banner of the Fallen

Stronghold PvP Queues can be quite long, and on occasion you can spend hours waiting for a match. Due too the fact there are players playing at all times, and that these queues in the "low Player" times can be literally unending, I feel there should be an alternative way too farm them that is still closely linked too your Stronghold. The Stronghold PvP Task (from the master of coin) could be adjusted to also give a Banner of the fallen on completion. I feel this would increase people running PvP, as well as make farming this new BiS PvP set more acheivable for smaller guilds, and players with less play time

When you select your option please comment which one you picked and your reason. If we can get a good supporting perhaps we can remove some of the random-feeling grind towards getting our gear.

So Obviously I've voted Yes, as I beleive it would really help people who aren't able to consistantly build up guild premades for Strongholds / people who play as less high-population times. as well as give a more steady progression through pvp AND make things like the new dye packs and jewelry more affordable with time, Obviously we still have the Strongboxes of the fallen also for even faster progression. but the problem with these is you can only get them for DOING stronghold pvp, and getting the minimum 300 points (which I have actually seen players fail to do multiple times. the strongbox should be 100% drop no matter what)

No, Stronghold PvP is fine and queues pop all the time, farming banners of the fallen is easy as it is.

i voted no, though the queues don't pop all the time, it's easy enough to farm, atleast more-so than dragons.

Fair enough. my reason was in part because the last 3 times I have attempted too play in my timezone when I finish work, I have spent over 1 hour in the queue both times (and one time it didnt even pop before I finished for the night. instead I did 2 GG and 1 dom after waiting until daily rollover for AD / stuff.) I feel thats a bit long too wait for a match too start, especially for those who work full time and don't have time too play for more than a couple hours a night. I just saw it as a way too increase the relevance of this new gear by making it slightly more easily accessible. while still requiring a respectable time too farm (84 banners If I'm correct? or is it more.)

its almost 120 banners. i suggested drop them elsewhere in time siege tech maintenance, but currently i have no problem with. its only evening event for me. no chance to pop que through the day. at the time a will get all banners i need. although, its good source for good vouchers (surplus eq), can be nice to be farmable more...

Stronghold PvP is so broken, long, and boring, that the only way you can encourage me to get the stuff from it is to put that stuff somewhere else.

I hate to say I told them so, but I did. As soon as the big pvp guilds and the other guilds with shops at the right rank got their gear in the first week or so... SHpvp started going the same way as IWD... people complained about facing premades, but those same premades were keeping the queues short.

Beyond the lag and the mapsize, the biggest oversight was not giving any other incentive to farm SHpvp once you've aquired your gear. It should have come with achievements attached to a boon campaign, like the other pvp types. That would have kept it alive for a longer period.

i like to say, when pvp guilds with draining stop sieging, it will be more populated by pugs. only few days delay till they come in. And it should be interesting event somehow. Just imagine current state. Be at winning team and if you are inexperienced, you can even miss 200 points treshold. Be at losing team, still work hard with 12 man team, get almost 1000 points and reward is coffer, 300 glory and gold voucher. are you joking cryptic? losing reward should be reworked

sieges will never be farmable many times a day, but still you will have several matches per day, if you have time

They should make stronghold mobs drop some strongbox. I bought some strongbox keys but ran out of strongbox to open.

This is a good point also. should be able to get strongboxes from drops. would boost key sales also.

Yes because SH Siege is horrible bored ... Getting that ton of banners was horrible.

I'd rather SOME way to get more banners than NO way. Whether it be Via Strongboxes, or 1 banner a day from the pvp task. Keys are pretty cheap on ah anyway.

maybe for you, but i doubt it helps majority of players with AD sources we currently have

2 days of que, (approximately 8 hours total que time) and not a single Stronghold popped. THanks for making this essentially impossible to get.

On PC SH Siege pops 2 - 3 times on one certain day, at one specific time of day.
