Totally Irrelevant Character Background Bug

Me and several guildmates just noticed today that our History tab lists us all as being from the Dalelands even though I don't think any of us had picked that option (and we all had titles of "of x" place from other places). Not game-changing or anything, but wanted to mention it. Sorry if this has been brought up before. Got too lazy to search.
