A hearty hello to our PC brethren. Xbox was just informed we get the strongholds update at the beginning of November and I am on a quest for any and all information regarding strongholds. I have found the majority of the information from posts here and developer announcements but it seems a few things are missing.
● Which currency is the most limiting when purchasing the iL145 dragonflight gear? Many of us console warriors are questioning if we should cease our pursuit of elven gear and start hoarding protector seals now. Or by the time we get enough fangs will we have more than enough seals?
● Which campaign currencies are the most profitable and effecient to farm for donating to the guild coffer? Or, if campaign currencies are not the best route for guild marks what is?
● Any recommendations on a Stronghold construction/upgrade path?
How many seals/fangs does each Dragonflight piece cost?
I ask because most people in my guild are not near the cap, we buy elven when we have enough. Should we aim for the cap or continue to buy elven?
Basically trying to avoid having stale seals that sit and collect dust while we farm fangs. No point in having 1200 seals if we are limited by fangs. If fangs are the slowest to farm of the 3 required then we can spend seals now and aquire new ones while farming fangs.
Our guild is fantastic though. Leadership has weeded out inactive players since it was created day 1. They heavily monitor activity. We currently have 137 players that login every day of the week.

It's very likely you'll cap yourself out on fangs and seals as you start building you SH. Getting to Market place 4 is going to take you a minimum of 28 days, assuming you guys can farm enough materials to have zero downtime between upgrades...which is extremely difficult...so figure 30-35 days at the least before you'll be buying Dragonflight gear from the vendor.
If you guys haven't received the seals update yet, protector seals will be much easier to get once the patch comes to Xbox

To buy DragonFlight gear, you need "Protector Seal", Dragon fang and Guild Mark. Protector Seal is the same seal you got to buy the Elven gear. Dragon Fang can be obtained by successfully killing more than one dragon during Dragon fight run which happens every 2 hours. That needs guild effort. I did not buy one Strongbox key to get a fang. I got all my fangs by killing dragons. You need a strong and coordinated guild to be successful in Dragon fight event. However, this is just the currency part. Building the Market Place that allows you to buy Dragonflight gear is a very long process. You probably can get all the fangs (which cap at 50), Guild mark (cap at 30K) and Protector seal (cap at 1200) way before you can buy the Dragonflight gear. I did. When that happened, I switched to another toon to build up his fangs, etc.
There is no "easiest" one to farm for the coffer because you need all the currency in order to build something. Typically, the toughest are influence because one character can only earn 400 per day and AD. If your guild does not do PVP, glory could be a problem. In order to get Guild Mark, you have to donate to the coffer.
The cost of the Dragonflight set. For chest, 600 protector seal, 36 fangs, 12000 Guild mark. For other 3 pieces, each, 400 protector seal, 24 fangs, 8000 Guild mark.
The set is account bound and you can buy gear for another class. That is you can suite up your alt using the main character.

What exactly is the seal update? We currently get 2 per boss, 2 from end chest, and 40 from adventurer's cache once per day.
Thanks all for the info. Sounds like we have absolutely no need to stockpile seals already. We will just aim to be seal and fang capped by the time level 4 market is complete. I will definitely let the guild know to farm campaign currencies though.
Are ALL the currencies from each campaign used or is it only certain currencies from each one?
Is there anything else that we can start doing now that will help us prep for stronghold release?

I guess when you get the SH update, the amount of seal earning will be changed.

Actually there is not much choice between the buildings. you need all of them to progress the stronghold. E.g. you will need the supplemental buildings at level 3 to unlock a new stronghold level which unlocks a New level forcthe supplements buildings ....
My best advice, learn to kill 4 dragons efficiently every single time and get as many as you can to do it. The guild vouchers are pure gold. You will need every single one of them. You can also get them by winning SH siege pvp so learn that as well.
