Merchant Loot

Is it just me, or do NPC vendors have a poor choice of loot to purchase? Level 30, and went to the Seven Suns Coster Market to spend some of the money I've been collecting but couldn't find anything better than the loot I've picked up for free through game play. Feel there should be something worthwhile to spend my money on. Any suggestions?

I understand but you have to realize they want you to play through the game to get gear. Not to simply be able to buy it. That's why you don't see them selling Seals of the Protector anywhere, not even ZEN store. Because they want you to work for it.

I wouldn't worry about the vendors in the market. You should breeze through to 60 with whatever gear you get. My advice is to do what I should have done when I played my first character. Don't overthink it, at least not yet. Don't worry about gear and stats until about 60. Stats will start to matter more and more from 60-70. Just use gear drops or whatever you can find cheap on the AH and don't think too much about enchants until maybe around 40-50. If you have the Heirloom pack, just equip gear from that and don't even pick anything up. It's not worth the time invested to get it, identify it and turn it into cheap coins. The game will start to become more difficult at 60.

That's a really good idea. The only thing I've really spent my money on was a horse.

Since there is nothing I need; I'd be willing to spend money on decorations or enhancements that don't add any value but make things look cooler. A flaming sword enhancement, for example, or a transparent helmet.

    DING DING DING!!

Now you know why they won't use gold for mounts!! A lot of folks would only use Zen for a mount and nothing more...it would not be in their best interest to eliminate a money maker!

    ...just saying!
