Deleting characters with premium content

I'm assuming if you delete a character that has a companion you paid for with real money then that companion will be lost forever?

I'd like to think that the companion would be sent to the special promotions agent or returned to the zen market to be redeemed by another character, but I doubt that this will be the case.

Anyone know for sure?

    Everything that's character-bound will be deleted, only account-wide packs will be available through the claims-agent.
