Gear Upgrade

vapezuluvapezulu Member Posts: 32 Arc User
Hey guys

This is probably going to sound really noobish but I need some advice with gear.

I reached level 70 with my GF about a week after mod 6 dropped.
Up until then I was still running my DT gear.
After hitting 70 I ditched the DT gear and equipped all the gear I had accumulated on my way to 70.

Bit unsure where to go next...

I can see the next step up is to buy the Eternal gear from the vendor for around 80k AD but what's after that and how do you obtain it?

I presume alliance gear is next and that drops in the new dungeons, but tanking dungeons with my GF in its current gear is a no no.

Anyone explain in simple terms for an idiot what I should be aiming for now. :)

Thanks guys

Just run the T1 dungeons and skirmishes for Alliance gear and seals. Or farm PVP for burning gear, then run T2 dungeons. Your seals will add up quick.

Buy a set of blue level 70 gear from traction house. It's dirty cheap and will get you through t1s.

I am a GF as well 2300 TiL. Look at your MH and OH artifact active powers and get +15% stamina from the shield talent power from OH and the tide of the iron buff from MH. Also obtain Greater Belt / Neck. I personally am running with the Lathander set (minus Eye of Lathander Artifact RNG luck). Buy Lv. 70 Blue gear with ARP to start end game. Cheap way to start end game. The eternal was really for leveling to 70 so save your diamonds as the Alliance set is far superior. I ran a full Grim PvP set until I added (blue) Alliance Gear (element seals) set from T1 runs and seals. Your Next step in T2 is Elemental Alliance Gear drops which helps on the way to Elven Gear (protector seals). I also need to look up more information but I read the Elven Gear is Shaped with Black Ice shaping Lv. 5 to Elemental Elven Gear and same as the PvP Burning set to its next level. PM me if you have anymore Q's

Also PvP Blue gear is cheap in AH you can get the Grim Set Pretty easily.
