Lovely Underdark blogs, looks promising, but...

Are we going to get anymore fixes,adjustments or revamped/returned content before it's released or are we done with EE and SH now?
Personally I'd like to see leadership revamped, Fixed AD costs reevaluated,AD making opportunities in game added, dungeons returned and a pass on class balance before a new mod.That's a big laundry list of 5 items :(
I fear it's unlikely now, and if these things do not get included in the mod release it could be a long time until we see them. Opinions anyone?

    I think they're working on the first three right now, but I would be amazed pleasantly surprised to see any dungeons returning before Mod 8.

    Cynics are going to be cynical, but yes, they are looking at revamping leadership (and apparently something to do with "masterwork" professions, so hopefully it makes more of them useful), fixing more AD costs, and word is class balance changes, too.

    As for returning dungeons? No word there, rumor or otherwise.

    But yes, they do try to knock out a lot of bug fixes with major module releases...it's just sometimes hard to see because new ones get introduced :pensive:

    Thanks guys for your opinions.
    At the moment I'll take 3 or 4 out 5, The AD/professions and class issues are core to the game and until they are resolved IMHO everything is being built on shaky foundations. I understand the need/desire to alter and rebalance the economy for the long term, the process however is proving painful in the short term.
    As for the dungeons more would always be good, but if the content in Underdark is well balanced, enjoyable and has a high replayabilty, then not so important.
    I honestly am looking forward to the storyline, I read the Crystal Shard back in '89 lol.

    My only issue, when a new module come out, is that previous content gets pushed further and further down the list, when it comes to their receiving updates/fixes/adjustments. Look at how we never got the Dread Ring weapons back, or how it still takes an inordinate amount of sparks for the later Feywild boons, or how Icewind Dale has become a ghost town.

    I am optimistic that the "replayable, not repeatable" slogan that they pitched for Mod8 will indeed offer a better experience - now incorporate such updates into the previous campaigns, and address the vastly increased difficulty of the Well of Dragons and Icewind Dale, vs Sharandar or the Dread Ring, (just make the enemies all level 70, would be a great start).

    I'm sure everyone here is expecting masterwork professions to just be adding a rank 4 to the existing rewards and releasing legendary assets.

    Probably along with legendary assets... *sigh*

    I really wish they'd make non-top-tier results from professions more worthwhile. As it stands, anything other than the tier 3 result is basically wasted time...

    They always save a lot of fixes to go with the new mod release. I'm sure this will be no different.

    The first mod release I saw was EE. Paint me skeptical.
