Hello All, Was wanting to get PC gamers opinion on my choice of enchantments, I am an Xboxer and want to get an experienced answer, I am a protection build tank and am currently running Perfect Feytouched and Perfect Negation, I mainly run PVE, I have heard a lot of talk about Terror being the way to go, I used to run perfect Plaguefire but recently switched and put it in the bank. What are your thoughts as I am of course looking to the future so that my time and AD is invested wisely. Thank you.

    for pve:
    feytouched and negation are fine..

the main benefit of terror or pfire is they help the group out. 40-45% dr reduction. your dps isnt ever going to be massive so 15% more isnt helping much. the incoming dmg debuff helps until you can permabubble.
given a choice i'd probly go pure pfire. (trans's ae is rubbish)
same with negation. permabubble removes the need for large amounts of dr. then briartwine to reflect dmg is probably better.

    just my 2 cents.

I appreciate your insight on this issue, I used to run a GF prior to mod 6 and I always ran Plaguefire, some builds for OP swear by Feytouched so I thought that would be the way to go but it seems from my own experience that my group does seem to melt through mobs much more efficiently with Plaguefire, it is such a common enchantment used at least on the Xbox side. So when guildies are unavailable it seems a lot of people use it and you have multiples in pug groups which is inefficient. So is Terror any good? It is much more uncommon on the Xbox.

terror is good. it also stacks with pfire. its more expensive. but if you can afford it and run with pfire folks then its your better bet.

Thx again! Your help has been much appreciated Perfect Terror or go for Trans or Pure? Some people say it just a waste of refinement stones, what are your thoughts?

Well definitely don't go above pure for PF - AOE effect that it gives in Trans form is a joke.
I have a Trans Terror and think if you want to get Terror it's best to go all the way to Trans.

These are the only debuff enchants available. So depending on party comp (as you said most folks run PF) it's best for you to have Terror and Plague for max party assistance.

I personally have Terror on Elemental MH and Plague on Mulhorand MH as a backup.

1). Is SW more dps or tank based?

Excellent, I will run with this I have a mully as well as Elem mh and I think that is a wonderful idea to have both in my inventory just in case I need to switch out. There will definitely be a fey on auction tonight! Thx guys, it is wonderful to have experienced PC players insight!

pure is as high as you need to go in terror. the root from trans is worthless but the power debuff from pure is nice. maybe go trans on a ranger/cw/sw where you might need to keep distance. but i dont need it on my pali
    where i'd stop:
    trans:fey,lifedrinker,lightning,holy
    pure:pfire,terror,flaming,bile
    perf:vorpal
worthless: bronzewood( terror or pfire always a better choice for higher uptime), frost ( possibly usefull for pvp) doesnt do squat for the mobs i care about disabling in pve.
