Lower the Price of Reinforcement Kits or Make them Unslottable

Reinforcement kits are expensive to make especially now that AD source is bone dry. Can you change the profession price or make gold unslot them.

Also, can you remove cube of augmentation or lower them to 1K AD.

    We could start with lowering the cost of the cubes. But if they want us to pay for powers, they should just set a price on them instead of forcing us into yet another RNG for THEIR amusement.

    On my new character I chose Mulhorand gear, this is part of why. Mining RP is the other.

    If anything, they should just remove any AD requirements in any professions since they remove AD generation from it. Sounds fair doesn't it?

    Yeah, that would work.

    However, I'd encourage drastically increasing the resource costs for non-purple resources. Make it so you need a LOT of Fundamental Ice. Get the excess greens out of the system, they trade for virtually nothing right now because the supply drastically outstrips the demand.

    +1 to the OP.
    I used to think v carefully about investing that much AD into a kit. Now with the massive curbing of AD income this is an even bigger consideration.
    With the cubes of augm, either keep the price and allow selection or drop the price (radically) and keep it as random.

    I agree. Make the professions costs profession resources, not straight AD.

    Totally agree with OP.

    At 100k per major kit, it's now out of bounds for most. The only folks willing to pony up the $$$ necessary are the semi-pro PVP types in the elite PVP guilds, where a +100 power or crit bonus can make or break you.

    For us mortal, casual gaming types, the cost/benefit ratio just isn't there. I can use that same amount of AD more constructively on other things (when I earn that much, that is).

    Im confident once they get some time...they will review all these sinks. They are in no hurry because there is still a ton of ad around they want people to burn.

    Transmutes
    Mount Upgrades
    Profession sinks
    Keys

    There are lots. They will get them...eventually.

    Honestly, with how Cryptic tends to do things, I wouldn't be surprised if they had a bunch of ideas and are just deliberately waiting for Mod 8 to roll around before they implement them.

    That would likely be 2 or more months away. For those of us who lost our income, and find the pickings more like work, it's a shame.

    I agree. Even both would be welcome, the bonus they give are nearly negligible as well.
