I am curious, if anyone bought the hundreds of GMOPs for 60k+ in AH. I was amazed, that the prices rised back to 82k after the announcment of the changes. I guess, that some ppl are to lazy to read.
Now they just have to get rid of all the other AD sinks (50 million AD for a lvl 20 guildhall, etc) and I am ok with the changes.
It's hilarious how stubborn people were. They should've hit 30k or something the last day but they sat at 50-70k all day long.
Honestly, it would be unwise to before the patch. It would become dirty cheap to make pure and trans enchantments with 5 GMoP for only 150k.
That's the only reason why they could even sell them above 22,000. And pure enchants only cost 200k to upgrade now anyways. Anyone that didn't drop below 40k a piece just lost somewhere between 1000-17,000 a piece. So basically they hedged on the idea that there was some vast pool of people looking to save 100k on upgrading something to transcendent.
There was one guy that listed a stack of 99 for 6.1 million even. That stack is back up on the AH for 2.1 million. He basically just lost at least 800k for no reason.

Another week, yet another total failure to fix the elven battle vs. thorned roots interaction or to pay attention to any other of dozens of longstanding bugs.
Greater Marks of Potency have a chance to drop from Enchanted Coffers from Leadership. Superior Marks of Potency have a chance to drop from the Refiner's Cache and Coffers in the Dread Ring.
Is it a tooltip bug? Enchanted coffers are not displaying the fact that they can drop GMoPs. Also what are these refiners cache and coffers from the dreadring? - normal missions reward an artifact bag so no SMoP - lair rewards a treasure trove which at times drops a cask. Again no cache or coffer so no SMoPs

Am I missing something here?
Refiner's cache is an event item from Call to Arms.

Not if they have enough months of VIP purchased...

The amount of AD he lost has nothing to do with the posting fees or his WB discount. It's because he could've sold them at a higher price prior to the patch. If he doesn't have VIP he lost even more.
I dont get it. If you lower the qty. of AD's and the cost of items they are used for. What the heck is the diff. ? Just puts it all back the same as it was just smaller numbers. How does this change market manipulation at all?
Basically it was to stop the ad farmers, those with 20/30/50 chars, but i guess you missed that part or you are one of them, which has caused this change.
the stated reason was to stop the bots which have 100s of acounts only 1 or 2 chars per acount cause thats free i think your geting the veterans and the bots confused, but no mater not many vets left soon you can just play with bots and ppl that havnt realised the game offers about 1 dungeon per 300-600$ buy in if you want to be best in slot depending on class and what artys you want
like this particular change, con ppl into subing for a f2p game that would never have a sub get them to invest in a product(gmop) to turn a little cash off, then drop its price and burn a number of people, they do it again and again im amazed theres still people falling for it but i guess theres one born every minuite

When they refer to the coffers they're talking about the Arcane Coffer you open with your gauntlet.
