I was excited. So very excited. New lands, gear, opportunities, and fun places to explore. Then the dawning of what had happened slowly gradually came to me. It went something like this. I first realized they ramped the difficulty. Thus making all my hard earned progress, armor and enchants up to now next to useless. They took away my dungeons i worked so hard to get and spent hours and hours of my time waiting to procure. I had to re-earn them by getting to lvl 70, which i would later realize was nothing more than a "Gauntlet of Pain and Disgrace." At first it seemed possible to conquer everything... that is until I ran into the newest Troll to NW... those dang crabs in drowned shores! Then the pain continues to mount as I realized that unless i'm in a group, BIGGER than 5 I didn't have a prayer. Usually me and my Fiance played together and we tore everything to pieces. We were a well oiled machine, her being a TR and me being a HR. Like i said... until ... the crabs... Other surprises hit me along the way... like the epic encounters being harder than anything i have ever seen in this game... even harder than the tiamat fight was... Then when I finally reach the top, lvl 70 I discovered that the pain is just beginning. If like me you were quick to just feed the new blue gear to your artifact equipment as you got it... thinking this is Blue and green it couldn't possibly be more powerful than my Draconic Templar gear i worked so hard to get during the Tiamat days. WRONG! You find out real quick in the new campaign areas that HP is the newest and best thing to get on equipment but by then it's to late and a struggle to obtain new gear. So now i'm equipping every shred of anything i can get my hands on to get more exp and it's sad to let my set bonus go but i had to do it. Not long into the update the Developers decide to grace us with a double seal weekend. I'm thinking AWESOME now i can finally get some decent gear from the new seals! So i try out a new T1 dungeon. Destroyed out the gate. Why in gods name would the developers wave a shiny new toy (double seals) in our faces so early in the update? When a lot of us were still struggling to take down the ramped up difficulty of normal enemies? Were are tempted to further destruction by promising us double seals... When potions are useless... and they took our ability to pop all benefit potions at once and ramp our abilities away...
In closing i'm just gonna say i'm not gonna give up, nor am i gonna give in the the need to purchase zen with real cash. However as i said before in a previous post. This whole Update seems geared towards making more money off the customers frustration and misery.

the heroic encounters are a HUGE leap in difficulty, but if you think about it in mod 5 they were too easy. it said recommended 3-5 players for example, and i could solo them. that's not right.
on the gear... you come to these forums, and people were talking about all our old gear being obsolete leading up to this for several weeks. i hung on to my draconic gear until around lvl 65 or 66 and then started using the quest gear.
on dungeons... i don't like the set up right now. they seem pointless, other than to have something different to do. i want to farm LoL to try and get a horn. the seal equipment doesn't see worth it.. it's over priced, and i don't think it bumps you in to the next item score level for the next set of dungeons. i'm focusing on the campaign missions right now so i can level up artifacts and enchantments... reach my IS requirements that way.
i want to reiterate, as some others already have, it's so important to get your RI% up. i will tell you my IS is a little over 1800, i have an ioun stone that's not maxed out. my current RI% is about 45%. i queued up for LoL and got a group that was stuck on the dragon. everyone had about 2200 IS. we go to fight and I am the one drawing all the aggro. i am a HR trapper and my AoE damage is nice, but i should rarely be the one doing the most damage on a single boss target... especially with my equipment. if you are a DPS build and struggling, this will help you tremendously. kill everything first, and they can't kill you.
double seals was a waste. again i don't like the set up right now anyway, and the bugginess of dungeon instances left a bad taste in my mouth as well. queuing in to the dungeon and not being a part of the group. not able to join the group. not able to leave the instance... very annoying.

Just dont be scared to think outside the box. I know my honey badger is dispensing justice on behalf of my GF. Theres always a way to beat games
P.S. Also notice those new cheap Uncommon/Rare/Epic Archon companions with nice damage boost active bonuses (you can get 4 Rare ones at less than 150K AD all together).

so, i'm not so sure the mechanics should differ greatly between PC and XB1, but maybe the devs could have more promos to help bring us up to speed... and i don't just mean zen discounts.
also people are going to have to accept that their builds just flat out suck. stop looking at your item score and fix your freaking build. all those people in mod 5 that leaned on their GS for tiamat are now seeing what everyone meant when people said GS isn't everything. saw an HR this morning with 3 legendaries and only had 2400 armpen... you like struggling, then that's on you, not the game.

All these extras were released incrementally shan, dread , ice, elemental evil etc. These were all suppose to be done before moving on. Now you have people with blue artifacts/gear, no boons, no personalized rings, lv 6 enchants trying to run dungeons and wondering why it's hard. Soon as you get your boons and gear leveled, I'm sure it will be easier. 1600, and 2000 items levels to seem to low for access though.
