Ignoring trolls above... Zanh Warlock's skill is basicly at-will, so she proc bonding all the time, beside that there is not many companions with spamable powers, Dread Warrior has one with 1.5 sec, i like him.
Lizardfolk Shaman- I mean Striker Companions while the more damaging category are still a drop in the bucket for what you need in endgame content. Lizardfolk is relatively cheap, though price can fluctuate, and from what I've seen is one of if, not the best healing companion. As an oddity I noticed Loyal Commander Gear does nothing for it, so stacking Loyal Avenger or Cruel items for more crit heals is likely the way to go.
To give perspective, at rank 25 it was healing my lvl 70 Ranger (~80k HP) for 18k, about 1 out of 3 heals would crit for 26k (only has about 1300 crit strike). At rank 30 (upgraded it to blue) its heals are 21k, or crit for ~33k. This is also an AoE, healing yourself and up to 3 other allies.
It has a Poison DoT blowdart skill it uses a lot which gets my Lesser Bonding up pretty quick, usually less than 15 seconds into a fight I have all 3 stacks.
On top of that it's one of the more mobile companions I've seen, it won't know to dodge red areas(like any) but it doesn't just stand still the entire time so it might luck out and hop off the occasional hotspot. I'd say get a Liira's Bell from the AH to keep it up in critical times, can be pretty cheap and the cooldown on it isn't that bad at all.

Zhentarim Warlock is my go to. She does great damage, attacks with no cooldown, and for some reason, her AI seems better than most at staying out of trouble.

My Will-o-Whisp procs nicely. I get to 3 stacks (sometimes 4) very quickly.
many thanks for your suggestions, guyz, much appreciated Actually, trying to "replace" my stone and get one of these companions to use p. bonding to get 195%, with only 2 stacks it should be better than stone. Will try all of them in preview server.

I like that my Will-o-Wisp thematically fits my character, in addition to being a bit better than the stone with p. bonding. It, like my CW, is a controller (not that any pet's attacks make a huge difference to the outcome... but it's more fun to play).
free renegade illusionist (green). 1 sec cooldown on primary attack. code:fbyjHBUe wayward wizard, 1 sec cooldown on primary attack. free choice at lvl 15, or 2 gold or dirt cheap on the ah sylph and sprite (including the green ones) 1.5 sec cooldown. zhen warlock, no listed cooldown, has bug with lvl 30 skill ( buff to 2 powers she doesnt have). but i've had 5 stacks of gbonding at the same time. i also upgraded her to orange. on my cleric she gives me gobs of power with blessing of battle and the +power aura feeding back through the bonding stones.
you always want a caster. they die less from aoes and the ai is better for casters than for most of the melee pets. there is the risk of them backing away from mobs and getting you into danger however.
I get Internal error: Please try again when trying to redeem this in Arc, last week and when I tried again just now.
i redeemed it through the arc client last night. are you using the client or the website. might also try typing it rather than cutting and pasting. it is case sensitive.

You should get a beast companion. But only if I ever post one on the AH, after using a -20% coupon to purchase it, trying to turn it around for profit
I normally don't actually do that, since the beast companions just don't have the reliable demand that augments do.

This is the site you get it at, and the companion is an account-wide unlock from the claims agent. Even characters I hadn't made when I redeemed it have been able to get one >.>

I know I will repeat what others said, but... Zhentarim Warlock is best at what you said. However, dont forget about Priestess of Sehanine Moonbow - she is not that great for maintaining bonding runestones, but she has amazing skill - she gives 0.5% crit chance/her level for everybody in party around her and debuffs enemies with -1%crit chance/level. That means on level 40 she gives a flat 20% crit chance bonus (and -40% crit chance for any enemy, so nothing in PvE will crit you). On level 30 the buff lasts 9 seconds and has 6 seconds cooldown, so its up 100% time. Disadvantage - its relatively small area around her, about 20'. You will almost always be in that area, but probably not everybody in team - unless they know they should stay near her. Bonding managment? 3 stacks at the beginning, then usually 2-3 - more often 2, than 3. Overall its my main companion on OP and would never trade her for anything else and I find her BiS companion for any support/tank character in game. Also, good to hear another person realized iouns arent always BiS anymore

but i've had 5 stacks of gbonding at the same time.
How can you have more than three stacks with only three bonding runestones? I never saw this happening.
1 way - get 3 stacks. Let the companion die - it resets the ICD on bonding. Use LLiira's bell. With great luck you will get like 6 stacks, 5 is pretty common.

I have a Legendary Priestess...I really, really wanted her to be better in practice than she was. If she would cast her spells at a longer range, and perhaps cast her buff on the player, and not an AOE around here, that would be great. But as it stands, she runs right up to whatever monster you're attacking, drops her invisibility then casts her buff, so from a practical perspective, it's extremely tough.

So mad at myself for not buying when it was 250k.
