I finally got my first Character up to 70, but now what to do from here?

I am a casual player, so its taken me a while to get my CW up to 70 (the other four I have are still at 60), but I want to know what's the next move I make?

I I think its best to get my CW kitted out with an epic armour set, and to get some epic items, also a decent artifact weapon for my CW, so where's the best place to start? I looked on the AH, but there wasn't much I could find.

Any tips, guides would be appreciated.

Rare level 70 armor from the AH.
May be add cheap artifact belt and necklace to it.
Artifact off-hand from Sgt. Knox for free.
Artifact mainhand either through grinding Spinward Rise quest chain, or through ToD campaign.
Refine the artifact equipment to rare at least.
Get rank 5+ enchantments into your equipment, and start running epic skirmishes and dungeons for rAD and better equipment.
It might also help to run "Vault of Nine" quest for unlocking the class sigils.
I do believe in killing the messenger...
    Want to know why?
    Because it sends a message!

just doing all dailies for a week or two should enable you to upgrade you artifacts/ artifact equipments to rare

For fresh level 70s, blue is the new purple.

You won't find epic gear on the AH, just buy all level 70 blues with hit points and stats that fit your CW -- focus on armor pen first.

Run normal 3-man dungeons for the daily AD (I like Temple of Spider), run campaign zones for boons (start with Sharandar and Dread Ring simultaneously, wait on Well of Dragons and Icewind Dale until you have some boons).

If you are in a guild that has progressed to a rank 2 marketplace, you can buy decent gear with guild marks.

When you have ~2k ilvl, start running T1s for drops and seals of the elements to buy blue Alliance Assault/Alliance Raid gear. Despite the color, it is BiS for you at your gear level. Unneeded gear can be salvaged for AD.

When you have ~2.5k ilvl -- alliance gear, mostly epic artifacts and artifact gear , and rank 7 enchantments -- time to start running eToS. Drops and seals of the protector will finally get you epic gear; note that some of the stat combinations may not good for your character's build, so choose wisely.
