A Few Adjustments If You Please...

Ok... so AD from leadership is gone. We get that. Now that it is... you... (you being the Neverwinter Development Team)... need to adjust a few things.

The prices in the Auction House will self stabilize soon... we are already seeing it. Prices are falling. However, its the "Cryptic Provided" fixed prices on items, services, and campaigns that need to be lowered accordingly... and now.

Let's see... we have:

1) The ridiculous AD donation requirements for Stronghold Advancement.
2) Everything being sold in the Bazaar... specifically GMOP's.
3) The AD costs for special keys... Kessels @ 10,000 AD, Mystic Dragon @ 10,000 AD,Arcane Dragon @ 20,000 AD, Valindra's Tower @ 10,000 AD, Malabog's @ 10,000 AD. The return on investment for these are negative... making the keys worthless.
4) The AD cost of the weapons and armor from the vendors in PE... you can get as good or better for a fraction of the cost on the Auction House.
5) Services like the prices of respecs, rushing companion training, rushing profession tasks, companion renames, guild bank tabs, and more.
6) The component costs for higher level profession tasks (things like 100,000 AD to make level 25 jewels, armor kits, etc)
7) Transmuting fees!!! Really? I think 50K AD is now a bit out there now.
8) The 24K per day AD cap... needs to go up.

I am not going to jump on the "Doom and Gloom" bandwagon. But these things need to be addressed... as they seriously inhibit the ability for players, and guilds... to advance.

I guess you still don't get it. Cryptic ONLY wants cash customers... you want something... pony up the cash and buy Zen. IMHO... this game will be just a memory in 8 to 10 months. No doom and gloom... no negativity.. just the way it is. Now... sure, you can spend 6, 8 even 10 hrs a day playing and get some AD, but who can endure 6, 8 or even 10 hrs of Dungeons or PvP.

I wholeheartedly second this. For the past 2 days I have managed to make 24K raw ADs or more without too much trouble on one character by running skirmishes and dungeons and salvaging everything I got in them. But that was just on ONE character, out of many I have. My other characters are basically left to languish at this point. To top it off dungeons and skirmishes to make AD take up the time I otherwise would have used on other dailys, making advancement through campaigns much, much slower.

We finished up the our upgrade to rank 5 guild hall today and I am sitting here looking at the AD cost for our first boon structure. 2,500,000 ADs .... this is going to be a painful amount at the moment for our members to come up with (most are not making their full amount per day).

I get it just fine. And if the playable end game content was there then it would at least be more fun to earn the needed AD for all of the above. But the fact that we only have 6 dungeons and 2 level 70 skirmishes is just sad.

I have no issue buying zen, some people however do. I have already seen some of them leave. But since they arent paying players... no one else cares.

Cheers... and this should be a minimum effort. The maximum effort would be to do something that does not seem like it would work... teach a man to fish... without limits on how much he should/can eat.

If he catches one fish a day... that is not enough food to survive. In fact that barely covers his "nutritional" needs. He needs to be able to gather enough fish... to sell. So he can then buy veggies and other food items the thrive. That way he wont need to use 3rd parties to help him out.

My thoughts are this... you reinstate the LP and Rhix dailies... AND give AD with every boss kill... then add the AD from salvage... AND allow for refining more rAD. I do not think that earning 50k a day by doing dailies and salvaging... in say 3 to 4 hours... would suffice. Increase the refining limit to 36k.

Since M6 you have stripped all ability to earn AD... in a timely manner. That forced players to create Leadership Armies. Cryptic is the reason that these Armies exist, no one else is to blame.

The game's programming is the reason that the bots exist.

Your actions have been reactionary and unproductive. Every step you take is one step behind. To get ahead, one needs to take BOLD actions. Actions that require a large set of brass ones...

The current system to gain income is insufficient for the current pricing structure. If they want players to continue participating in content from past modules, they need to provide incentive for them to do so. Add AD as part of the lairs in campaign zones for example. Tiamat is another example where a 1-2k reward could be provided. They need to branch beyond just the queued content. The queue system is flawed and frequently pools unbalanced groups. These are just some ideas...

Ugh. Not as if there aren't already a lot of AFKers in Tiamat.

Tiamat has far higher requirements than the old bots in Sharandar required. It's also likely they'd queue at a preset time, so essentially they'd be easy to "trap" into one instance. They could also make the 1-2k reward for beating the instance, something that would be far too much work for a botter, and it would fix the AFK people.

Don't forget boons. New characters need boons and AD is tied into every one of them. Especially in WOD where you can spend hundreds of thousands between the boons themselves and the required books.

I'm a paying customer. Been buying Zen right up through 2 RP weekend. However, I'm not going to tolerate gouging--which is what we're seeing, the game is a lot less interesting with the lack of PEOPLE, and the value of Zen is falling. SOMEONE has to turn this boat around.

Simply buying Zen and being a good customer hasn't done it for me here so far. I have ANOTHER job. This is a game.
