Would it be possible to allow GWFs to animation cancel Battle Fury? The actual animation itself takes up almost a second or so of the buff... so using it to buff myself in the middle of combat is actually viable?
When I cast it in combat, before I go into unstoppable, There is a half a second or so delay no matter what I do. I can't cancel the the animation and start attacking until almost a full second into the buff. It's OK because I have 8 second duration in total atm, but it feels bad seeing the buff appear before the animation completes, losing uptime.
If I go unstoppable and then cast it, I waste unstoppable time not attacking because the damn animation locks me out of anything else. If I cast it and go unstoppable, I lose a second of uptime on Battle Fury.

Yes, cancel after 0.5 sec is the best we can do so far.
I am not sure if its just my imagination, I think BF didn't use to have any delay, it was effective as soon as u cast it and u can cancel it immediately after casted and still get the buff but cancel the animation?

It locks me out of any other skills (At Wills/Dailies/Encounters) not movement. I'm guessing its purposeful, which is why I asked here if it could be changed. I like the idea of giving a buff to all of my party.
Like many powers one can do a jump to animation cancel. I am unsure if such cancellation is technically an exploit or not since I realize that there are limits to the minimum times they are capable of creating for animations. Personally I hate to see all the jumping as it looks entirely ridiculous and makes the game seem increasingly foolish. I really would like confirmation of whether or not this is an exploit because if it is not they can simply allow for a setting to disable animations and then I might not have to wonder if the peoples I see bouncing constantly are mentally handicapped or suffering from ADHD or some other disorder.
Reading back in my post I realize I sound grumpy on this matter but realize that is most likely not just from this but a culmination of all the bugs/exploits/imbalance/lack of communication and general apathy I feel about the state of the game at the moment.
