Active Companion Slots

I do not know if this is a bug or not. I just purchased Zen to buy an additional Companion Slot. I currently have 5 slots. I am told my character is not allowed to purchase this item. What we can have a ton of Idle Slots, but only allowed to have 5 active slots for our character?

    That is correct. 5 is the max at this time. The only purpose that Zen item serves is to allow reaching 5 active slots before level 60. After you have 5, it cannot be purchased,

    After I posted my question I answered my own question. I just never read the fine and dark print that says limited to 5.
