Match #1 - Solo Q. Enter a match with a score of 440-10. My team has 3 people in it, including me. Obviously ended up in a slaughter for me and the 2 saps on my team.
Match #2 - Solo Q. Enter match with a score of 632-200. My team has 2 people in it, including me. I didn't even bother to jump out of the campfire on this one as a 5 v 1 HR isn't my idea of competition.
Match #3 - Duo Q with a friend. Enter match with a score of 400-0. My team has 4 people in it, none of which want to even try at this point and end up roasting weenies by the campfire.
Match #4 - Solo Q. Finally enter a match, to get "server timed out" the second I seen the campfire. Reload NW, enter the PvP match to a sign that says "You are no longer a part of your group". Get removed from the zone and have a 29 minute Penalty.
This is certainly not just my experience. I've talked to many friends all having the same issues.

now it is 10 v 10, if it was possible to make a larger group than 5, it could be a good tool for guild versus guild interactions... too bad it seems cannot control who fights who.
regarding balance, it is too early to say I am still lvl 31. I noticed my DPS has changed very much. For some reasons, not sure if all classes, but my sentinel GWF is doing a lot more damage than it was before.
I feel rogues are doing less damage; however, the smarts one are still very strong. they hit you run stealth, hit you run stealth, without regen they can control the fight somehow, maybe I just need some pratice kinda rusty, only had problem with one rogue so far.
Trappers are still strong, but I think combatants should be the new meta for HR (as I was suspecting prior to mod 6), specially with more cc resistance on lvl 70 etc.
the game looks beautiful and smoother (at least for me). the game is great, but I confess it was a disappointment when I knew that only 1 day and half afte rthe update there are lvl 70 people in the game already with transcendent negations and their regular stuff all maxed out.
Shoukon, I know you said it is true the game is not "p2w" in a sense, but "p2 progress faster". but the thing is, neverwinter this faster is speedlight faster because regular grinding and pve WILL not buy those stuffs in any time soon. I could afford and spend money, but I don't think it is worth to spend thousands of dollar in a game that has only a few good pvp players. there is not much point spend too much money to competing like that, it takes the fun of the game in my opinion. I will keep playing but i don't plan on spend too much money anymore, and the sad part of the game, is that the gear enchantment difference actually makes a huge difference, so if it means not be so much competitive on PvP anymore, so be it, I will lose but knowing why.
I wish they did some different mechanics with neverwinter. I would rather a fair subscription than that insane p2w that is required right now to max out stuff.
