No, my build is the only devotion build on the forums and as a pve purist, I have not included anything related to pvp. If you are interested in a pvp pally build, I would suggest asking @jaegernl as I know for a fact he pvp's on his devotion paladin. Although, knowing he is too lazy to post his stuff anyhow, I suspect you won't get a build out of him :p (I know you going to read this Isaac) If that is the case, I might endeavor to grind through pvp and work out a pvp build, seeing as I seem to be the only devotion theorycrafter who posts stuff on the forums anyhow.

    Hi there!

I got your ingame mail. I did read the thread, but completely forgot about it. I'll give you some pointers, as my build doesn't differ much from PvE to PvP - some items here and there - but I remain Dev/Justice. I'm no PvP God, and generally stick to pugging Gauntlgrym and the occassional Domination PvP.

    1) PvP gear. Slowly build up your Tenacity. It's of great help in PvP. It will make you survive longer, which is why we're there in the first place. I aim for high Tenacity, Defense, Deflect and HP. A dead teammate is no good to anyone.

    2) My skillset: I usually run with Relentless Avenger for the AP gain and the fact that I can target teammates with it, which then knocks over the enemy. Secondly, I often use Burning Light to Stun the enemy while also doing respectable damage when running Aura of Courage. Third slot is generally reserved for Cleansing Touch (Which clears CC and heals - very helpful!) Often, I'd change Burning Light for Bond of Virtue when I'm with teammates. Burning Light is mostly there if I'm able to hold a node by myself, although I've not been in Domination since the changes to capping.

When it comes to Dailies, I actually prefer Heroism over Shield of Faith. Heroism provides a respectable amount of Temp. HP and complete CC immunity, and when there's lots of enemies around to use Relentless Avenger on, it's uptime is tremendous.

Class Features, I tend to run Aura of Courage with Aura of Divinity for the heal. Considering I'm Dev Justice and there's a funky little bug with Aura of Vengeance that makes me *cheat*, these were the two options left to me. Well, there's Aura of Truth with the offhand feature, too. But I never specced Truth. Derp.

At-wills change constantly, depending on the situation. Need a little more DR? I use Valorous. Need more heals? I use Oath Strike with Cure Wounds? Need a gap closer? Radiant Strike.

Enchantment wise, I just went with the herd and got myself a Negation, which I also use in PvE. Also, I'm running a Transcendant Holy Avenger, which provides DR and a heal, just to make myself more survivable.

However, in the end, we're nowhere near the immunity trolls a Protector OP can be. The above is all fine and dandy in a pug setup where there's less communication going on, but hardly has a place is highly-coordinated premades. And communicating with your team and assessing what they need is very important. Are they dealing brutal damage but getting killed quickly? Switch to your 'healer' setup. Are you fighting - or expect to fight - a 1v3? Switch to your 'I'm a tank now' setup. Is your team dominating? Switch to a more damaging setup. We're a class that's very adaptable to a situation.

Oh, and I just use the same Artifacts I use in PvE: DC sigil on active (More dailies, less problems) and everything that provides me with HP. I have a choice between an AC and AP cloak (Lostmauth) and will slot Lostmauth if I'm comfortable with my survivability but want a little more damage. Considering Paladins can get an obscene amount of crit via just Ability Rolls, it seemed like a good option at the time, but I've since reconsidered that build - I went from a Cha/Wis to a Con/Cha focus on my Paladin.

Hope these pointers at least help a little.
