T2 Armor - Crit or Recovery, but hit to ArPen?

mjonismjonis Member, NW M9 Playtest Posts: 146 Arc User
It seems that the elven gear obtained with the T2 seals, mostly takes a hit to ArPen?
Currently my DC - DO, righteous path has
Power = 8223
Crit = 3437
ArPen = 2571
Recovery = 4693

If I could figure out how to post screenshot, I would (too stupid).
I had higher ArPen, but I bought the Elven Restoration Surcoat and the Elven Assault Braces, so it dropped my ArPen by like 1300.

I'm thinking of respecc'ing to Faithful or something for "full" healing as sometimes when we do dungeon runs (especially eToS), we don't always have high geared people and I can't keep up.

Of course, once I do that, my solo'ing days will be over. LOL

Thoughts/ideas? Do I make up with enchants? (I've got Level 8).

    I don't use enchants for Armor pen, but then again I use a augment stone with the loyal avenger rings on it and the two slot rings on my character with armor pen. The rest comes from artifacts and gear. I'm sitting at about 5600k armor pen which is probably a bit high, but I don't really have to many ways of lowering my armor pen with my build unless i switch out those very expensive rings.

    Which 2 slot rings for your character? I searched the AH, but the only ones I can find are for companions only.

    Which Augment (Allure, radiant, etc?)
    Thank you

    The two slot rings are made with lvl 25 Jewelrycrafting and are BOP (which is why they are not on the AH). If you don't want to spend a lot of AD on tools, you can buy the Gemmed Exquisite Adamant Ring of Piercing and upgrade it to the Personalized Adamant Ring of Piercing.

    I use the black dragon ioun stone for the 10% crit chance boost when I need it most (below 50% health).

    My righteous DC (with gift of haste) does eToS runs in high prophet. As long as the tank is good and people stay near me (or the tank) and inside the circles, I rarely have problems. No way will I respec my DC just to carry a weak tank.

    For Boss fights with GF tank:
    Break the Spirt + divine glow + astral shield

    For Boss fights with OP tank:
    Break the Spirit + divine glow + bastion of health or healing word or maybe astral shield

    at-will: brand of the sun and astral seal
    Feats: Prophetic Action and Foresight

    If you respec to Virtuous, you will almost certainly miss Avatar of the Divine and it's effect on your cooldowns and damage.

    If you respec to Virtuous, you will lose your damages for sure, but with an appropriate you can have fast cooldown.
    I've invested on recovery, but this is off topic defenitely. ;)

    or just have two sets of armor, one for solo play and one for team play

    I carry 3 sets of armor:

    PVP
    PVE with good tank
    PVE solo or no/bad tank

    armor is a lot easier to swap out than enchants and cheaper than accessories/companions. Soon the SH boons will give you the freedom to swap out stats on the fly. Which will create a lot of options for everyone (especially for clerics trying to use mod 5 armor)
