I'm still learning my ways in neverwinter when it comes to events, I been to three so far. Why is the item weapons and armour in such in a very low level? I am just very curious.

These items are meant for changing the appearance of items, not for their stats. If you look, you'll see they are marked as "free appearance change". The same is true for the various Call to Arms events. There are also similar items for some of the the campaigns.

To put it in perspective - if you want to apply the appearance of one item to another item, it can cost up to 50,000 ADs at 70. Many of the call to arms and other event items have unique appearances to boot, (like scythes for great weapon fighters, lava-like swords for paladins, etc), so they can be very desirable if you are going for a particular look. Some items, like certain Waukeen transmutes from the event that just passed, offer weapons in colors you can't get elsewhere.

Also worth noting is that certain item packs, like the Bahamut pack, include no-cost and reclaimable transmute items for every character on your account.

I love the increased presence of CA in the forums.

There are some items that may seem rather "meh" to you or I, but they can fetch a big price on the AH. Items like the Hammerstone items from Icewind Dale may be the most desirable pieces of the game... and they are old epic 60 drops.

    Me?

I have bought 10 AD, a lvl 12 mask, to transmute a hideous helmet.
