just curious if the developers even play because with some of the very annoying design decisions they make such as 3 clicks per gem or surplus equipment donated to guild and other things like f being the only key to do everything from picking up loot to opening that wonderfully useless menu on players.

do they even stop and think how will this feature will work and do they even plan or even think ahead? I mean seriously most of the time I vendor the gems and armor because its just less annoying to vendor it then have to sit there and click on 3 different places just to donate it. when it would have been just as easy to have a drag and drop feature and the ablity to turn of the reward message I don't care about the 1 or 2 marks I got big deal I don't need to see it on every gem or item I donate.

it reminds me of crafting back in day in everquest having to click million times to do anything but even 10 years ago they realized that was dumb idea and implemented changes to limit the need to click non stop

They seem to look at things as a matter of singles in isolation. Donating 1 item...a couple clicks and done...no problem. Push it live!

If doing it one time is easy...doing it one million times should be easy too right?

They need to start using preview properly and actually taking the feedback. It took me only 1 donation of a green to realize it was going to be a disaster.

Playing the game in god mode with unlimited resources and cheat commands does not equate to actual gameplay experience.

TLDR...just remove the equipment donatig or make it like a vendor...please.

Ps a contribute all would be a nightmare though for lost items.

It was drag and drop on preview for a short time. I think there were some issues with it.

Everything in this game seems to be tied to some delay mechanics. You de-mount when youu enter a new zone, you de-mount when you collect loot and various stuff from the ground, the refinement procedure, the huge maps, moving items, having to run up to certain NPCs, short animations during dungeons before boss fights or upon entering, professions. Everything is as tedious as possible to extend total playtime and to delay rewards so the player doesn't burn out. It's all part of the intentional design.

I really wish we could contribute items more easily to our guild - as a VIP, I have so many bound ID scrolls, and I'd like to be able to ID green items and quickly turn them in.

It's not just donating thats needs improvements. It's the whole UI. I really don't get why they can't make it faster and more userfriendly.
They allready have the needed mechanics. When you open a trade window, doubleclicking items in your inventory adds then to the trade. Why can't it work like that for donating and refining ?.
