I know this sounds redundant but I'm curious. I know a healing spell is a spell that heals but;I'm rolling a healing Oathbound Paladin and I was wondering if it's worth taking the "+2/4/6/8/10% AP for healing spells" trait but started wondering; What is a healing spell in this case? I know you get AP for dealing damage but most Paladin powers are offensive + a healing side effect. Eg. Oath Strike; as devotion pally it deals damage but the third hit AOE heals. Does this count as a healing spell? Would it now benefit from the +AP trait? And what about Aura of Devinity? It's a Class Feature but it heals allies, would it now gain +AP? Just weighing wether or not it would be worth taking, since there are only a couple direct heals that are unquestionably healing spells.

Oh okay. For a DC does It affect Astral Seal heals? Devotion OP has a similar move; where if an ally attacks the marked enemy they receive a heal. There are so many moves that heal but are mostly offensive and heal. Wish there was more detail in the tool tips.
It's a useful feat for Devotion Path as many of the encounter powers are Primary: healing with other side effects (it's opposite for Protection Paladins where the healing is the side-effect). NOTE: One of the AT-WILLS is a 100% Healing power. I don't know it, but suspect this feat does not work on this as it is an at-will and feats that affect powers only work on encounters unless specifically stating they work on at-wills.
In answer to O/P: A "Healing spell" is what you cast specifically to heal; it's function is to heal.
