Draconic Templar items

Have these been totally phased out, or is there a way to still get them? I wanted to use the armor to transmogrify with my current HR armor

    AFAIK there's no way to earn them in game. All you can do is to buy them off AH.

    Isn't Draconic Templar armor the same skin as Draconic armor? Venfithar and Vilithrax still drop the odd Draconic piece.

    from what i remember they are different. which sucks because the draconic templar is something of a really good look

    Yes they are...for DC *IDENTICAL* However as @lordemonrage states: it may have differences on other classes. I have it on my DC and checked both versions and they are very much doppelgängers for the DC. But have heard it reported as having differences on GFs, I think.

    They need us to forget about it, so they can re-use it in mod 12 and it will be "new". They will just change the colors.

    Dont be unfair to graphical desing department.They release at least 4 unique looking gears every mode.It is altogehter different subject whether they are ugly or not

    ...on a slight spin-off from the OT:

    Might it not be a desirable thing to get all those old epic armor sets' looks as transmute items, e.g. as reward items during events???

    I for one definitely miss my Battlefield Skulker, HiViz and HiProfit looks... :^(
