Your last point about kicking until you get a cleric....I hope you are doing that at the BEGINNING of the run. That is justifiable, but if you are kicking one person at the end after fighting with them through the entire dungeon, then that is just WRONG.

I joined a pug last for temple of the spider. Looked like they were stuck at the first boss. We get to the end pretty easily and some ranger armor drops. Seconds later I see "vote to kick failed". The other ranger tried to boot me... after that I won both loot rolls lol. Thanks to those who voted no! I ended up 2nd DPS by less than 1 mil, 1st was the other ranger but he had almost 6 mil on me when I jumped in.

A month ago I would have been kicked for sure. There has been a change in the community, not everyone, but more people pay attention now instead of just voting yes.

Lmao i dont care who you think opinion on who to kick is valid...if you repeatedly do things that have to make other classes work harder they get the boot...know your class and dont do stupid stuff and they wont get kicked.

If it is a power you can use then you are more than welcome to use it. Who are you or anyone to tell someone how to play their class lol. If a DC gets swarmed by ads why wouldn't they push them away. If they see that you or someone else is struggling with, probably only 2 ads from the way you are speaking, then they should go over and push them away to SAVE you from going down.

All in all, it comes down to....YOU play YOUR class and let the OTHER PEOPLE play THEIR class. If you want people to play the way you want them to play, join a guild that actually cares what you think about class uses.

Was playing a dungeon and one guy tried to vote to kick three different people. One was (15 seconds into the dungeon), said the guy was no good. The other vote to by the same guy was accusing another player 5 minutes in of being greedy. I told him to knock it off. No response of course. Got his handle and will not forget him.

Most of the reasons vote to kick are complete BS. So what if someone does something stupid or is still learning. So what if you have to carry an extra bit of load till the offender gets up to speed. If you make requests and they refuse to listen, then maybe kicking is a proper response. Lets be honest there are few group requests ever being made and if they are its by one person. Wish more folks would use the headsets and communicate. Ive played three months and only my guild members communicate effectively in my experience. In the grand scheme of things its just a game. 8/10 reasons for kicking are BS reasons for folks who take themselves, their character and this game waaayyy too seriously. We were all noobs at one point. Would be nice if there was a custom to kick the guy or gal who is voting to kick others for silly reasons. As far as the loot screen, everyone does this. I dont like it but it happesn ALL the time by even the seasoned players. Thats my rant on the subject

Of course its at the start Pat, if you are sitting at the startpoint and need a cleric for that dungeon then constant TRS and CW's are not what the group needs. (assuming you mean me). We were told the matchmaking would take account of this, lets be honest no one likes wasting 30 mins trying to get a cleric, fortunately it will be less of a problem as we have helped a couple of guildies build monster healers so its becoming less of a problem, however they aren't always on (how dare they sleep I say) :)

I would never do that at the end of a run nor would my guild.

then your guild has my respect. honestly, during a ELoL run, a guild were kicking people looking for a certain class at the final boss... and what they said in chat was "you're lucky we like you, so we're not kicking you" something like that, i don't remember... but anyway, once they did that, i got a picture of them saying that, and their guild name, left, and then brought it to attention on twitter. (since i can't do it here, for obvious reasons). when they were kicking people, i always voted no. Man, they were horrible... kicking people like that all willy-nilly and even basically confessing that to me... yeah i was done with them at that point.

I was on my DC doing a few ELOL runs, the only character I even try to run ELOL solo because no one USUALLY kicks the DC. Anyway, I got placed into a lobby at the FINAL BOSS and as soon as I got in everyone ran to the start. I asked them, 3 being the same guild, how many people have you kicked for a DC. They said about 8. I asked who their 5th was through the entire dungeon, they said a GWF. And so I LEFT.

Those people that run the entire dungeon only to kick one person at the end, because all of a sudden you NEED a DC. Those are the pathetic people that I hate playing with, and will ALWAYS leave. Granted I am sure I would be replaced with another DC that does not care how that group treated the person they kicked, but I for one do.

i think the matchmaking is greatly improved, problem is there has to be a cleric in queue. if you are on at the wrong time of day, you can't even get a PUG.

My SW is beastly in dps and I still get kicked on occasion. No worries though, it will all be changing soon enough. To answer the TC, I only VtK people who are disconnected and obviously not coming back. Any other reason in my opinion is lame. Even if someone is struggling and not doing well I will attempt to help them vs kicking them.

In NWPC ypu get kicked even before finishing loading the map when running PUG's no matter your gear score/lvl no matter the reason, since I started to play during open beta I'd never being able to do a single dungeon cause I always get kicked before finishing loading the map, cause no matter anything if you dont have friends to play you can't even try to do a dungeon run to get better gear
