Easy to use known issue tracking needed

Looking through the bug forum, it seems to me that one of the main issues that is frustrating people is that it isn't clear what is a known issue and being worked on and what remains still to be reported.
A simple sticky with the known issues and perhaps with known work-arounds for them (where applicable) would be extremely helpful. I would expect the Devs already keep such a list anyway. Apologies if this exists and I just can't find it.
I think this will be preferrable to the current state where it is very hard to track what is working as intended (or close enough) and what is a bug that is known, and what is a bug still to be reported. Personally I would even be happy with the Devs saying about some things "This is not quite working as intended but it is easy to work around so we don't have the time to focus on this just now" which I'm assuming is the case with the invoke bug (which gets brought up all the time).
Apologies also if this is in the wrong place, but I felt it applies to bugs so ...
