Mount transmute?

Any way we can get this feature sometime? I know we're all being forced to go after basically two mounts now for the passive and summon bonus, but it would be nice if we could keep the looks of our favorite mount instead of an ugly slime snail or plucked chicken.

Problem is, once you buy a mount from the zen store, you can claim it indefinitely. So even if they would consider transmutes, you'd get to keep your original mount and can basically transmute indefinitely. Not something they would want I think.

You'd have to buy it to use it for transmuting so PWE/Cryptic have already made their sale and wouldn't care what you do with it.

I mean the worst case scenario for PWE is that people buy the cheapest epic mount + a rare/uncommon mount to transmute it into. And even in that case the player is spending more than they would've if they'd just bought the epic mount. The only downside is if they make uncommon/rare mounts that people prefer they sell less of the more expensive epic mounts.

If a transmute was a zen store item, problem solved.

Honestly, I would LOVE this. I have an old dragon mount which I've stored despite now using a strider. I use the strider for the speed bonus, thats it. I don't like how they look at all and, in all fairness, my favourite mount for looks in game is a green level mount from the zen store. If i could buy it and a transmute option i'd do it and use them in a heart beat xD

They could make so you can't reclaim the mount once you have it in your inventory/bank or equipped. I mean gear keeps it's identity, and changes only it's looks when you transmute it. The mounts would be the same. So you couldn't claim the same mount again and again and transmute it to have different looks.
I bought a whole bunch of Zen mounts, just to have the right look on my characters. I would love to be able to transmute mounts to customize my characters, but I don't know if Cryptic would ever give us this possibility. This would kinda make the upgrade tomes pretty useless.

Considering you can just buy a mount for the cost of an upgrade tome it is already kind of useless.

True, but tell that too Cryptic. They made the WB discounts for VIP alone, after years of forum threads. This is what they think is reasonable.

I wanna make my Shadow Wolf purple, but I don't wanna buy the overpriced Zen Market version, or pay the ridiculous WB price. I don't feel that any of those are justified. Transmutation would be a great alternative, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
