I saw a guy from a big PVP guild, he was wearing a transcendent nega enchant and other shiny stuf, he had done nothing, just stood in one spot, the enemy couldn't even touch him, nearly 7.8 people were constantly bashing on him, zero effect, the samll amount of life he wasted got back with one swing. So pathetic really, zero skill, just pure gear.
I would only add, that i had done a few matches yesterday for my GF's Burning Gear and i was really shocked, what GG PVP became.
Just 2 matches for example.
First match, we had a decoy, all my PUG team mates followed him, i was first laughing, then gave up. I really could cry, they fell for a cheap trick, all went with him to just 1 point out of 5, i was the only one, who saw through his trick. PUGs really would need some tutoring done by a video from Cryptic, cause if a fellow player tells them, all that comes back is cursing, very hard to educate adults or nearly impossible.
Other match had a decoy too from an EU mid sized PVP guild, he was just standing through entire match and did nothing, he let his fellow guildies on enemy team capture points. I made a screenshot of him, he was just standing all match long on one of the bridges. I won't report him, cause i have done it zillion times, nobody cares...
As @schietindebux wrote, really sad to see this rapid decline, cause the potential of the game rocks. It would only need some care from Devs and an in game Admin, who would be only responsible for PVP and who would be there 24/7, to report things to and who would act, empahasis is on act. Cause all the tricksters/exploiters/match fixers are aware, that nobody cares, so they can do whatever they wish and at the end of the day, they win- sadly.
BTW i have experienced the same "trick" as Amy wrote a few days ago from Civil Anarchy in another thread, still i could kick the exploiters best part with my crappy geared GF, so i was a bit more proud of my little dwarf.

In the end, pugs are pugs because they are pugs. By definition they don't learn easily. It takes time for them to get gear and get better in skill and knowledge... and in all likelihood, the way things are going, pugs will probably just quit PvP altogether before they get their gear and skill and knowledge, because the game environment is so miserable.
The sad part?
Some of it can be remedied if veteran players step up and take that extra responsibility. The gaps in gear and skill and knowledge cannot be filled up easily, but at least it is possible to spread apart the better players so that the overall power balance of the opposing two teams are more even, and reducing likelihood of powerful veterans all ending up in one side.
All it takes, is a bit of courtesy, compassion, and conscience from the self-proclaimed "PvP guilds" to abide by such a simple rule like, "Let's NOT enter GG with a premade team. Let's all go solo. Let's make premades only in Dom."
But of course, that never really happens, does it. Some individuals abide by that rule. I know I do, as well as a few others, but we're never enough. We need the PvP guilds to acknowledge this as a problem which they have a responsibility to help out remedying with...
...except, of course, they don't really fekking care. That's the problem.
None of those guilds care, or at least, care enough to identify the problem and do something to stop it. Instead of doing stuff to slow down the rate of decline, these PvP guilds, the idiots they are, actually speed it up every time they enter GG with their trollmade thugs.
Yes, the problem is structural. The devs have made it this way. But it's the players that are swinging the axe against an already flimsy structure.
Stop making excuses. Be a man. If you know something to be broken, stop using it. Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'
Speaking of PvP and Pugs , new pvp players etc. It'd be nice for there to be a MINI tutorial BEFORE players can even enter PVP, made compulsory even for existing players. It would only need to be a few minutes at MOST. but it should explain / make player see the relevance of Tenacity.
It's far too often that you see players wearing basic PvE greens/blues or their old level 60 pve gear in PVP. then wondering why they can get 1-2 shot and deal no damage to players wearing level 61-65 tenacity gear, and in 70 PVP. I have lost count of times I've gone up against players wearing a mix of sub 70 gear and a few 70 blues (No tenacity), and then complaining in zone or say chat about how unfair the game is and how broken it is.
I'm sure a level 65 with pvp gear on. would be able to beat even a level 70 in full t1 gear with no tenacity (because I've done this with a 70 wearing the 65 pvp set, and my opponent had better enchants on also) , and so many players don't see how important this stat is.
OR... If a player queues for PVP. and they have under (level x 10) tenacity. a warning pops up
"Warning! : You currently have a low Tenacity score, this may affect your enjoyment in PVP, do you want too continue, or would you like too buy some tenacity gear first?)"

sorry to say, but that tenacity thing is very problematic anyway. i made a try and wear alt cleric with blue tenacity armor. But i was still one shoted many times by rogues, overall be extremely squishy. it must looks like i have no tenacity gear ....

My paladin, who can literally tank 2-3 people for a fair while without using the "OP" Skill (provided they dont chain CC me so I cant get templar wrath hp back) , can still be oneshot by a rogue if he gets the jump on me haha. Unfortunately unless SE is changed rogues will always be able to do that.

Many PUGs are like a dice, with more sides. Ones are the people @kweassa talked about, who could be educated and are willing, they would just need a fair and rewarding playground, that was back before Mod 6 GG PVP.
The other side of the dice are those PUGs, who are really negligent, sometimes have even big mouths, who don't care for such things, like team spirit, they don't care for anybody at all, they are just there to get their daily AD or maybe some of the glory to equipp their toons and basta, they should be get rid off.
Finally their are some PUGs, who aren't real PUGs at all, just alts of better geared toons (watch their handles) and the player behind them really doesn't give a dime for team either,- same as above- is only there for the glory/AD or trolling. This last type of "PUG" should be cleaned away also.
I can only second @kweassa 's every word, if the Devs provided us with a PVP system lacking many features it normally should have, still we could make it a better place, we, the community.
The tutorial is a fine idea, many of us have posted and opened threads about it, now over years ago. Foundry and Foundry made maps could have helped us a lot in combating all these issues, but Cryptic doesn't allow the community to use that feature and here we are.

Well the things i saw today, encourage me to play less each day, a levitating GWF. A guy from a known PVP guild above my head, couldn't reach him, he could with a constant help of a DC from his guild kill me easily. Pathetic. Wow.. I think I've seen that one in like, mod2 or something. An exploit I've seen maybe a few times where somehow, the guys would induce some sort of a glitch and they float above. I also recall a very old screenshot where two of those bug abusers were floating above the enemy spawnpoint in Rivenscar.
Most likely, the bug is caused by some people discovering certain spots on the map that lead them to move out of the normal playing field with certain moves, in many cases involving movement powers such as Mighty Leap or Shadowy Disappearance.
I always assumed that this bug was squashed and didn't exist anymore. Almost nostalgic.
If what he says is true, then I'd say it's an all-time low for "those types" of players. They acutally went so far as to find out an recreate an ancient bug, and do that chit all over again.
...and they ask me why I hate "vets" and their irresponsible prrickish existence.

Reported him (date and hour in the metadata of the image once a lawyer, always a bad boy- that's me ), all i got, i should put the guy on ignore, if it would ever solve anything. He is since long on my ignore list. And then people ask why PVP is dying in this game?! As long as Cryptic doesn't take massive action and rather blame us, those who report stuff, well it will only encourage exploiters even more. I was banned more for reporting, than anyone for continuous exploiting. FACT

@icyphish today i saw another fine example, also a player we know a perma TR. The nooob was visible for a few milli sec and he used this time to climb the wall on Point 4 in GG PVP, we couldn't reach him there and he slowly killed us down with knives.
BTW if Cryptic wants to see more money from players like me by disabling AD from professions, then please for Christ sake once, just once ban somebody i report and send a screenshot on top of it, i make CS's life real easy by presenting the evidence too. Thank you!
Edit: I have never seen so many exploiters in one bunch as today in GG PVP, they are happy lol, we decent players are pushed out of the battlefield due to no chance. We didn't have many chance until now against them, but we kept playing, cause the game was somewhat fun and rewarding, but with no AD from LS, who will be such an idiot to let himself be killed over and over again by exploiters. Good fun to that, but i bet after a while they will leave too, cause it will be boring to kill eachother, exploiter vs exploiter ha ha...

its weird.. I have been pvping quite a bit in the past few days, still hasn't seen one of those... but yea, I hope those that abuse the glitches gets the punishment they deserve

nice today at GG, gravity premade preventing opponents to have at least basic points for rewards. after countless advertising they dont stop roflstomping single opponent who dont fight and only stay on node for cap. Of course at group. Afterall there were some trashtalking in chat so they obviously read chat. Are things like this even possible in these days? Sadly yes. Luckily 450 points are enough for reward

you always have take in account the average age in these guilds, multiplied with the average IQ so in case its 0-100 you don´t really have to complain but in case they could write its probably a 100-200
The score looses its validity in case the average age is far to high, 40 upwards it´s not something like yuthful headlessness but frustration of the seniority that has to be compensated you do a good work though getting stomped, it prevents lots of psychiologist and from beeing overrun
With active companions bonus now beeing WAI in Dom, GG and Shpvp id say no. Have you ever seen the lag with 2 SWs 2 OPs with 40 active companions in Dom? 1 fps inc. This game is dead as disco.
How dumb some1 has to be to denote this companion bug as WAI?!,...@Devs: go, play siege or dom pvp yourself...-50fps,..have fun,...WAI also?,..thumbs up! They killed the game!
I tried my best to play pvp, but with a 2.5k gs toon, it's just not feasable. There is literally no place where i can play pvp, where i have a chance at hurting someone.
the big pvp guilds have worked hard on thier gear , or bought it, whatever it doesn't matter which, and also further thier strongholds fast, so the gap is just going to get wider.
Stronghold boons should add to gear score.
Brackets should be by GS once level 70 and not win/loss.
Sounds to me like the OP is looking for an excuse to quit the game...
The dev team is spread on several projects all the time, they neither have the time to get to know their game nor seem to care to at least deliver a product that is not broken. I mean, 2+ yrs of broken releases, current state of PVP balance is worse that it was at release, wtf else you want from them, to HAMSTER chase you off with a stick?!
Speaking of levitating players and other oddities, any of you seen the super speed moves? I know there are some pets that buff movement but I have had players move from meleeing me to out of range for a ranged attack before the .25 of a sec or so needed for me to react to it. Before I could even summon my mount they were out of visual range and that was with me moving in that direction. At first I thought it was maybe some lag but after a few occurrences of this I am wondering if it is some combination of pets or something else.

BTW if Cryptic wants to see more money from players like me by disabling AD from professions, then please for Christ sake once, just once ban somebody i report and send a screenshot on top of it, i make CS's life real easy by presenting the evidence too. Thank you!
Edit: I have never seen so many exploiters in one bunch as today in GG PVP, they are happy lol, we decent players are pushed out of the battlefield due to no chance. We didn't have many chance until now against them, but we kept playing, cause the game was somewhat fun and rewarding, but with no AD from LS, who will be such an idiot to let himself be killed over and over again by exploiters. Good fun to that, but i bet after a while they will leave too, cause it will be boring to kill eachother, exploiter vs exploiter ha ha...

so in case its 0-100 you don´t really have to complain
but in case they could write its probably a 100-200
The score looses its validity in case the average age is far to high, 40 upwards it´s not something like yuthful headlessness but frustration of the seniority that has to be compensated
you do a good work though getting stomped, it prevents lots of psychiologist and from beeing overrun
the big pvp guilds have worked hard on thier gear , or bought it, whatever it doesn't matter which, and also further thier strongholds fast, so the gap is just going to get wider.
Stronghold boons should add to gear score.
Brackets should be by GS once level 70 and not win/loss.

Sounds to me like the OP is looking for an excuse to quit the game...
The dev team is spread on several projects all the time, they neither have the time to get to know their game nor seem to care to at least deliver a product that is not broken. I mean, 2+ yrs of broken releases, current state of PVP balance is worse that it was at release, wtf else you want from them, to HAMSTER chase you off with a stick?!
