I've seen many times a formulas, which helps to calculate preciselly what dmg we should deal or get at certain stats. Thats kinda clear, despite fact of hidden changes, community don't know.
But what about control and control resists.
Let me notice - elven ench was bugged for 2.5 year. Now "fixed" but thorned roots destroying its effect. Mentioned roots goes throu all resists and multiprocs makes perma rooted. Repel - it's a kinda joke. It moves my char to opposite corner of map. Even mobs can stun players for 5-6 seconds, and I'm not talking about white Tiamat head. Bugged Valindra set is a just another dev's joke.
I'm not asking for any buff/nerf/whatever - just an explanation.
How da HAMSTER this is working? And please, don't tell me - buy t.elven. Not the point.
Did dev's knows how it works? Or its a just random result of coding?

I remember seeing questions like this before and seeing no answers to it. I have a Sun Elf with 30 wisdom and a mistakenly purchased a Wisp companion, with all the control resist bonuses I have not noticed a difference compared to anyone else. I have observed those next to me when Tiamat roars, when people are trapped in blocks of ice, when snared in spider webs or when stunned by mind flayers, the stun times were all the same. I can only guess control resist works in pvp and not in pve.
