Thanks for "updating" the barkshield, now can we please get it fixed foreal this time?

Come on devs, we gave you feedback on this before release of mod 7 with your proposed fix. We knew it was going to be still unviable yet you didn't take that feedback and went on with it. Now for the love of every players out there, can you please, please make a viable fix?

... and don't get me started with the bilethorn as well. sigh...

If the devs have doubts about the REAL value of barkshield enchant check the AH prices (Greater bark at same price of lesser negation), this is a major problem for the barkshield owners.

Devs, just change the charges to a percentage of damage absorbed.
5%, 10%, 15%, 20%
Problem solved.

And while you're at it, take a good look at all the other enchantments and upgrade them as well.

I've wanted to switch out my Barkshield for months, but I keep hearing that they are going to fix it. By this, I am to gather it hasn't gotten a real fix? Guess this means it's time to change.

Not really.
Prices were much lower... and after the "upgrade" talk and the "upgrade" patch, the prices went up for a while, but now the prices are on their way back down.

Barkshield is not that bad. It is cheap. One important reason is that it drops in lock box.

Let's be honest, it's not cheap because it drops in a lockbox, it is cheap because the enchantment is really unviable. If this continues, might as well wear soulforge.

Oh God I hate SF so much. Simple making it THE ONE enchant to rule them all, in mod 6 was a disaster.
And to add, that "all you need i lesser really..." is another thing that has to go asap.

There are so many enchants out there, not used simply because SF is just to good - no, it's the only one that is needed in the "one shot's" era. That's why I'm impatiently waiting for implementation of announced difficulty changes.

Hope I can finally get rid of SF, I will not even sold it, I will just discard the HAMSTER !!!

Barkshield is ugly :P but the concept is cool, I would like it to be buffed a bit - this is something that would create more diversity which is badly needed.

It's not really "broken", only if they take the time to upgrade an enchantment, they should at least do it properly.
The charges are just way behind the numbers of damage done by NPCs to a character, and the character hitpoints itself.

Maybe the're somehow adjusted to NEW damage numbers that will be implemented with the diff patch?
I mean, at the trans level values look ok'ish? granted, I'm not sure am I reading them correctly.

BTW. Is this patch now live or? I have mixed feedback on this....

Which class and PvE or pvp? PvE yes, there is only SF viable. PvP, it okish for cw an tr. For other classes, I may not recommend it. DoT is the enemy. But some boons help you, cold shoulder and avalanche. For tr, fey thirsty.
