Xbox guy facing Mod 6 with some questions

1) Will actual Artifacts (Rod of Imperial Restraint, Lantern, etc) be able to be upgraded to the next level or rendered obsolete when the expansion comes out bringing us from max lvl 60 to 70? I have heard already that artifact equipment does not, but what about the actual artifacts?

2) Will there be entirely new PVP sets of armor with variations from the level existing lvl 60 sets?

3) When we do put our old artifact equipment (or actual artifacts for that matter) will it matter if its Rare quality (blue) and then some towards Epic (purple) and count as more? I guess the most specific way to ask is will the 40% that will apply from the old equipment be based on the total refinement value (which would include whatever progress exists between upgrade levels) or just based on the current level that item is? (blue, purple, etc).

4) What other advice do you have for us Xbox noobs facing this transition?

Artifacts aren't rendered obsolete-they just can be upgraded from orange to teal. You won't need new artifacts. However, you will likely need to invest in artifact EQUIPMENT.

There is new PVP sets.

The RP for refining old artifact equipment into new artifact equipment is level based. I strongly recommend waiting for a double RP weekend.

Tips: as it has been said, wait for double RP, and max a same type artifact lvl 59.
