PvP Gear Set Bonus Question

Does the "4 of set" bonus apply to all profound armor for a class regardless of its type, or only to each subset of profound armor? For instance, my DC's choices are as follows: Profound Armor [of the Virtuous]; [of the Righteous]; [of the Faithful]. All 3 of these subsets have the exact same set bonuses (2 of set: Equip: +463 Recovery. 4 of set: You gain divine power 30% faster and heal for 7.5% more).
My reason for asking is this--I have already purchased the righteous helm and greaves, but would rather have gone with the faithful set. If I purchase faithful armor and gauntlets, will that complete my set and give me the "4 of set" bonus, or will it be split into 2 separate "2 of set" bonuses, giving me +926 Recovery?
I hope that makes sense, and thanks for any clarification on how these bonuses work.
