Draconic Templar gear sets Aura? What Aura?

I finally got the last piece of the draconic Templar gear from fighting tiamat 4 out of 4. It says in the description "you gain an aura the decreases the damage resistance and damage of enemies with in 50' by 5% each". Is this a invisible aura? Because I see no change. Trying it out the seem to be no effect at all on enemies. Good answer welcome. Jerk answers need not apply.

I personally don't have the set, but my experience with "auras" when I was a Templock; the debuffs show up on the debuff bar of the enemy.
Only way to test it without any other debuffs is run a dungeon solo and see what debuffs appear on bosses.

Basicaly 5% dmg bonus on enemies for u and everyone else, also debuffs thier dmg down.

All this for enemies within 50'

I don't remember if it shows debuff on the bar when attacking but I have noticed it when looking through battle logs when trying out the pig companion. Wearing a different armor and not attacking an enemy the pig would do subpar damage (less than the original stat listed in paranthesis). With Draconic Templar armor on the pig would get a boost in it's damage output to above the original damage stat.

To answer your question: Yes, the "aura" is invisible. There is no animation for the buff/debuff.

Yes the aura is seen in the enemy bar as a debuff (red). The icon looks like a purple face with purple afro hair with a black background (sorry for a terrible description). In bosses you can select their health bar and see like 8 debuffs it has. Hope this helps you.
