As a veteran mmo player I am always looking for new ways to maximize any character that I play. Theory crafting new ideas and builds, different gear sets, non-standard meta builds, that with a little bit of thought and practice become the new meta, or at the very least a new way of being extremely effective with a non-standard build.
So reading thoroughly all the abilities and feats of my HR and fully understanding them, the Combat Paragon for HR is extremely amazing....(on paper). So I switched a few enchants around, changed some gear and made the best Combat HR spec that I felt was possible. Practiced my rotation's with different encounters until I got it down what was the most fluid and effective for PvP.
The result?---> Complete, and udder failure on every degree. I didn't just play one match, I gave it a good hour and switched some things up on the fly to try and adjust. Again, giant failure. Am I just a bad HR at Combat? Possibly, but I do not feel that is the case, I am pretty confident I know the HR well, and play it to its fullest.
Unfortunately this is the case with pretty much every class that we have in NW. Of all 3 Paragons, you have at best 1 Paragon that is going to perform well with whatever you decide to do, PvE or PvP. Minus of course the TR, as all 3 Paragons are extremely effective no madder if its played by a drooling mouth breather, or the very best of the best..and in the case of the Elite players, TR's are sky rocketed into the highest clouds of OP land.
This is a subject that has been talked about pretty much since Closed Beta on PC.
I wish NW would put more thought into the characters we have, instead of dreaming up new ideas of Fashion and Zen Store items. Yes, I know they are two separate entities within NW but that is besides the point. The character customization for builds is lack-luster at best and it is very disappointing.
What are your thoughts? I can't imagine I am alone on this.

I played Guild Wars for 6 years and loved the multitude of skill combinations you could use and that you could adjust skill ratings in a town. The number of skills was a lot higher too.
The fact you have to actually PAY to adjust your traits in NW is terrible and stifles innovation and experimentation.
