    here's an update about the issue, may be related;

    after last maintance, i didn't get any patching or upgrade, however, after i exit the game, loader restarted and started to patch something about 5,2 GB. i was afk, i'm not sure how much it downloaded, but i've seen that loader window is closed. i restarted the game, it seemed ok. after i played some time, when i exit, it seemed like it crashed again.

    about update;

    i found that the patch is downloaded and waiting to be installed (i guess), in the "Neverwinter\Live\prepatch" folder. i wanted to restart downloading patch and let it re-try to patch, so i renamed (instead of deleting) the folder inside ("...\prepatch\piggs" folder). As i expected, on exit, loader restarted again and tried to download the patch (5,2 gb). i wanted to be sure how much it downloads, so i waited some time. it downloaded all of the patch (not sure exactly). at the %100 of patching progress (approximately 4,1 gb downloaded / 5,2 gb patched), loader is shut down again, instad of saying "Ready to Play". now, "Live\prepatch\piggs" folder has 4,87 gb of some ".hogg" files same as "Live\piggs" folder, ofcourse with different size. i wonder if there's a way to do the patching manually, tho, i didn't try anything. dont want to mess with game files.

    also i tried to verify game files via loader options, it seemed ok.

    if there's any more information you want or any way to give you more information about this issue, let me know.

    that's all so far.

    The prepatching is typically. They do it on every major release. The alternative is that you'd basically have to download the whole game from scratch when the new module drops, so they're pushing out bits and pieces slowly so you won't have to download it all at once on drop day (which is tomorrow). I seem to recall hearing others mention that the prepatching sometimes caused windows to report a crash too... Hopefully after M7 drops, you won't keep having this issue.

    hmm, thanks.

    So i wait. if the issue keeps happenning after release, i'll note it here.

    Game was crashing for me upon exit, a few days leading up to mod7. Now, new patch has downloaded, I can't load game. Freezes on developer screen and crashes.

    my crashes still happen.

    Not that it effects anything about gameplay. it just happens on exit everytime.

    also i've learned that prepatch has nothing to do with this. new module was installed via prepatch, without downloading anything more.

    But still, game tries to patch on exit (restarting loader), and that loader window closes without downloading or patching anything.
