Just a couple of quick questions in regards to the mod 6. Just for clarification mostly...

Do our currently artifact mains and off hands become obsolete in favor of new ones? If so, is there a benefit to continue refining those weapons or should we wait for any further refinement for the new gear? I've heard that they do become obsolete and you only get back about 40% of what you put in them. So would it be better to just stock pile refining stones for the newer weapons or continue refining the old ones. Or is all of that information I have read incorrect? Some clarification please also does that include regular artifacts?

I've also heard that we need to be saving up any power points we can get and not just put them into powers not being used and that we should try to save up around 40 of them. Is that correct

other than the grind and playable content what are some of the biggest things we are going to get smacked in the face with in regard to all of this content coming. I'm looking forward to it getting here but at the same time feel I don't know which direction to go in with my characters for further current development that will be beneficial once the new content drops thanks for any positive input in advance

Yes, your current artifact gear all becomes obsolete, and even if you use your current artifact gear to refine the new gear, you will lose 60% of the RP you invested. So start saving RP and stop using it

If you wait for 2x refinement you will get 80% back. Worth the wait.

As for power points, get all the extras you can, but i would be surprised if we all didn't get forced respec. That is generally how mmos work, new abilities come out and you have to respec everything.

Its not obsolete until you get the new gear anyways, its not like you are going to destroy it on day 1. But it will no longer be the final end game gear. Save it until you get your new set, then use it to upgrade your new set during the next double refinement after that.

I've read somewhere that lvl 61 blue gear will be available and already be better than your current epic equipment. Of course artifact equipment is out of the question and is supposed to be like: if it is now legendary, it should be almost as good as the new one on epic
