Duellist flurry unusable in this mod

in The Thieves' Den
Do something for this at-will, it's becoming an useless skill since it proc every passive boons/feats in pvp.
I'm killing myself or heal the enemy when i hit someone with duellist flurry.
It's already a hard skill to land, and now it's just impossible to use in PvP
I don't want to be forced to play with gloaming cut or sly fourlish
Boost the damages maybe? Lower bleed damages and make it piercing? (since when bleeding is stopped by an armor?)

    Try to control or stun the enemy then flurry him. Piece of cake.

    The damage goes up if you hit from stealth. Also... Actually... I have started to use Sly Flourish AND Duelist's Flurry as my At-Wills... foregoing any ranged attack. I kill a lot using DF and SF. I stopped relying on my encounters for anything except control or a little more damage.

    Why?

    Because SF does great damage to heavily armored opponents.

    When M7 comes out I will be switching to a Wk or MI Scoundrel build. I say "or" because I need to test which one I like more.​​

    You don't get my point, It's not that i'm not able to land a DF but when i land a DF, it kills myself more than i do damages. Because it procs any passive boons like avalanche so fast.

    Boons can at max produce like 40k damage that will still affected by damage resistance, tenacity and deflect. And it activate only once ever minute or so. And avalanch needs 20 stacks of it to activate and only deals 15.000 damage. So you need 2 full flurrys to activate this boon. And if you die from it you are a badly equipped player that deserve to die from it.

    Try to land 2 full DF on a dc that have 50% deflect and twistle fey that can deal up to 3k damages on each deflect.
    Yet yes i'm good enough to be able to land 2 DF, and get more damages taken than dealt.
    But you'r right people used to call me a nuub, i must be a very bad TR.

    What may be killing you is not the DF... it is something that you are not seeing. As in, someone is using a feat or a power to drain you every time you hit them. Something like Steel Supremacy, I think that is what it is called. What that does is dishes out damage to anyone or anything that hits a GF.

    I have killed a substantial number of players and mobs just by using this power.

    There are also armor enchants that will do this, no matter what kind of damage you do. There is ALWAYS a specific animation related to each of these different occurrences. I have been killed by Feytouched and another one that I am forgetting the name, right now.​​

    Why do you refuse to switch out DF when the situation calls for it? Maybe thats why people start to call you names? Frankly, if you're killing yourself with DF, switch to SF for a minute. (Option 2/edit) Add Red Dragon Glyphs and Avantageous Position/Oppressive Darkness to your DF; net 1200 per hit, up to 14.4K damage in one round of DF.

    Proc Shadow of Demise leaving Stealth with Dazing Strike, 50% damage top-up to your DF. I can go on and on about strats. Can't do nothing about reflect boons, if you're still hurting, go back to option 1, switch out DF.

    used to hate it b4 m6 came along now thats probably the only good at-will for pve and pvp too.

    That and the fact that most of them do not feel safe enough when everything is up close... so they spam stealthed CoS.

    how about changing the build? im a non stealth more tanky tr i do use cos but only in case victim try to ran off, so i just finish him with cos. i will try to post some videos here me 1v1 with cw, gf, op, gwf, steath based tr what ever. it just takes good mechanics and a bit of practice and off course knowing other classes strength and disadvantages

    When I change my build in a couple days... to what I have been working on in the preview... I may play with a wider variety of at-wills. The build is a not very stealthy build either. @lemonchill I know how you play and I respect your abilities. You have killed me a number of times... in PvP.​​

    Fixed the problem with some lifesteal, i have actually 15% LS and it works pretty well with DF. Aiming for 20% should be enough.

    Yes duelist is almost dead.. Pretty much for avalance and other boons.
    Secondary for stealth depletion proccing on each tick.
    Base damage without bleeds isnt particulary high too especially compared to that bad joke of gwf sure strike

    Don't forget weapon enchantments ticks proc boons too..
