Malabog's Castle map and 3 FPS

So I know I'm not the only one having problems with Malabog's Castle map cause I've seen others comment on it upon arriving. Being an off and on again long time player of the game I've just grown accustom to queing for this dungeon to basically check to see if I can play it or not. What I'm referring to is the 3 FPS (frames per second) I get when entering this map and only on this map no where else in the game. Obviously 3 FPS makes it unplayable so I just leave shortly after arriving and have been doing so for quite some time now.

I've adjusted every graphics setting I possibly could...moving sliders to minimum, turning on framerate stabilizier, turning down bloom intensity, turning down world detail texture setting....all of it. No increase in FPS.

Maybe it's more a tech support thing I don't know, but being that it's not just me or my computer since other comment on it as well I wanted to make sure to give my feedback on it.

Perhaps removing the dungeon and moving the drops such as artifacts to something in Sharandar like Arcane reservoir or Grimlock's lair would be a simpler solution.

    Are you kidding, with Mod 7 and 8 up coming... everything that is messed up will remain messed up. I believe they do not have the will, nor manpower to fix anything. Malablog and Valindra's Tower have been unplayable since Mod 6 hit, I tried each one once and what a freakin waste of time, not to mention the reward is soo not worth the effort and eCC is actually easier then Valindra's.

    That DD is broken... as is VT, I only know one party from my guild that reached Valindra... I do not think they beat her, due to lag. I was part of the only group from my guild to beat MC... that was only due to a bug that was relating to my companion... and no it was not the Jagged Blade. My companion was one-hitting mobs and bosses randomly. He ended up one-hitting Malabog and took Fulminorax from 3/8 to 0 in one hit.

    I reported this bug immediately, in-game and on here to panderus. We chose to re-enter MC a week or so later with the same set up with the same players... to test if the bug had been fixed. Our plan was to leave if it had not and ALL of US report it this time. The bug was fixed... and we were lagged out.​​

    Did not run MC last month+, but never had issues. Make sure ur MaxDebris (max physics debris) is either 0 or way less than default. Any other gfx wont have that much heavy impact on it, except for shadows, lighting and depth of field (screen-space ambient occlusion).

    ps: also restart the game client after the change

    I never run anything higher than the minimum settings and DX9.​​

    I run VT all the time and I've never had frame rate issues. I used to have problems with MC, but after setting display to DX3d to 9ex, they disappeared.

    I consistently lag in VT, MC, and eCC. I often lag in eLoL.

    Mind you, I generally don't lag anywhere else in the game.. just occasionally, but usually when Windows needs a restart.

    It doesn't matter what my graphics settings are on. Even at Minimum, and the lowest display setting... still massive FPS drops and rubberbanding.

    Sad, too. My GWF is getting to the point where he can actually contribute to Epics.

    dx9 or dx9ex? Or to put it simply, just post the full gameprefs.pref. But u r referring to lags and the OP to stuttering, which obviously are two completely different things. I too experience lags, in some instances heavier than in other and, as far as my experience goes, some class builds are causing quite noticeable lag issues (OP lately eg).

    Completed VT a number of times recently with Guildies. Lag for me in there is intermittent and doesn't seem to be related to anything in particular, or obvious to me. MC on the other hand has been broken from a lag PoV for a couple of modules now.

    When it was first released, we ran it regularly with no major issue.
    Then all of a sudden it was lagtastic! But........Only in the outside maps! When moving indoors, the lag clears up.
    Interestingly, if I look up at the sky the lag becomes worse, if at the ground less so.

    At this moment in time, I run my settings on minimum. Doesn't help in there though

    Killed Valindra several times till module 6. If instance is broken because of lagg you simply go out because laggs starting after intro sequence.

    I have done vt many times, but never mc.. not since it was released, due to lag issues there, Supposedly if you can reach the castle it gets better.

    That is with making everything as low as possible, I can run all other content in the game, just something really funky about that.

    Yea the worst lag for me comes from the outside maps of MC. I've messed with all the settings far as turning them down to lowest possible as well as turning on and off the 2 different framerate stabilizer options to no gain in fps that makes it playable. Suffering thru it to get to the inside stuff where it's better but then being outside to beat Valindra and Fulminorax will make the lag start right back up which is why I just pop in, check it out, and then leave.

    The only thing I haven't messed with is trying the DX9ex option...I'm familiar with DX, but never heard anything with such an option from DX so that's why I never tried it though I will and see what happens.

    Thinking back though it I do remember it was about the time that my Win7 (now Win10 xD) machine updated from DX9 to DX11 that I started having a huge problem with running MC cause before then I could run it fine with no problems.

    Otherwise for the ones that don't seem to have a problem with this map....well....not everyone has turbo-charged liquid cooled V-8's as I call them (6 core or above CPUs) with dual graphics cards and all that other jazz. I myself have an AMD a4-3300m w/Radeon 6480g. While it is a 1.9 GHz dual core CPU with less than average graphics card once again I'll say this is the only map I really have a problem with.

    Since you all brought it up though it is a thread for another discussion....I do occasionally have major lag spikes in VT as will everyone else on my team. I sincerely believe those originate from something pertaining to Valindra's Crown dropping and the recent changes to boss drops aka there not rolled anymore. But, since it's not an all the time every time thing I've just not got it on my agenda of fixes I want to press hard for; so yea maybe another day on that one.

    Well....I've switched to DX9ex and qued for MC, but....I keep getting marked as idle by the system before I get a que. -.-

    On a side note....switching to DX9ex and then getting hit by another player in say domination with an aoe stun like smoke bomb I get this purple glowing border all around my screen -.- How distracting. Good thing it doesn't seem to work on DX11.

    Just an update....Yea DX9ex does work for me as I finally got a que pop for MC. Didn't last long though cause most didn't move from campfire and left instead. I imagine it's cause they too were getting 3 FPS on DX11. Me and a CW managed to be able to move from the campfire with apparently normal FPS rates but when this:

    How inconvenient though to have to switch to DX9ex, restart NW, and que for MC hoping to get a pop with a good party that all also switched to DX9ex. -.- SMH -.-
