more privacy options

I'd really, really like it if there were an option to, at least temporarily, block all tells, invites, and trade attempts from people who aren't already on your friend list. Any chance of that? (Or, is it there and I just don't know about it?)

Well, that might be a bit unfair, as they might just want something. And with MMO's you can block there gamertag if they keep doing it. If that helps :)

Unfair? Might just want something? I must not understand the point you're trying to make.

If I know for sure that at a given time I will ignore the tells and reject the invites and trades, what's the reason not to block them?

Well, you can report the character name and send it into a ticket to support, and then let them deal with that persons account.? That might work better.

+1 for privacy options, if you're not on the friend list, I choose "quiet mode" the sender should get a message asking to send a friend request first. It should be selective (block trade but not looking for group eg)

Ah, good, some seems to have understood what I was asking for -- I was afraid I hadn't explained myself well enough or something.

(Over the weekend, someone I don't know actually threatened to "report" me because I wasn't paying attention to their "tell" messages and party invitations during a boss fight they weren't involved in. A way to let people know that I'm ignoring people might have saved them some stress or annoyance or something.)
