An additional option to refine artifact weapons that will save the game

Remember when players used to farm MC and VT for fragments that is used to craft the BiS weapons?
Well a similar thing can be implemented. Each T2 dungeon can have a chance to drop a unique piece of fragment, this will force players to do all 3 dungeons and not just the easiest (exploitable) one. These fragments can be used by Weaponsmithing and Artificing professions to generate a task to upgrade the quality of the weapons. (OH WOW what a great way to bring back those dead professions).
You can still keep the current RP system, so if players want to buy a bunch of RP on the AH, which is something farmable by bots!!!!
OR they can also buy these fragments from PLAYERS, who have been asking to bring back farmable BoE items from dungeons. It will give people a bit more incentive to farm T2s not just for seals, but a higher chance of getting something rewarding at the end.
If you think about it now, how are people able to get all their stuff to legendary? it's impossible to farm all the RP by themselves, so they've probably bought off botters somewhere along the way to get to this stage. By the time most people get it to legendary, a new item is announced, and then endless RP farming starts again. I inspected a lot of people in this game, even people with rank 10s+ still have purple weapons/offhand as getting them to legendary is just too far reached for legit players, but easier to obtain by rewarding boring farming or botting.

viola , you just saved the game, more then your premise did. The whole issue with this game is basically summed up as this..
they have made it way too like a computer app game.. farm resources ad museum so you can post a smiley picture on facebook.

The game has been increasing grind points, to the extent that no one wants to do them.. which is why there are less people in our guilds, game, friends list and channels and most importantly queues.. go in with your sub 60, hit pvp domination queue and you will sometimes be in it all day waiting for a match. Thats more telling then anything.. was leveling my pally yesterday and 4 hours. 4 HOURS of no pops.
It will save the game from dying. People will see getting the best items in game is doable by playing the game, farming dungeons will be somewhat more enjoyable similar to earlier modules.
Ever since the introduction of artifact equipments, from my personal point of view since beta, people are forced to look for ways to upgrade these items by supporting botters, because it's just impossible for someone to do it legitimately. Even if they choose to pay, it's cheaper to support the bots and buy stuff off them, because the cost is too ridiculously high buying RP from zen store or WB.
They have made this game far too rewarding to bot compare to playing. If you look at how the game was a few months ago, most players were making AD by farming dungeons in this game, instead of looking for ways to do their leadership farming thru gateway.
Point is, there will always be botters, a better way of fighting them would be make it less profitable for botters, and more profitable for players. They've always been trying to fix problem the wrong way by only looking at their 'economy', which hurts their player base more than they think. Prime example is Dragon Hoard's enchantment nerfs.
