Artifact Off-Hand

So last night I got the offhand off of Tiamat - Unfortunately it was the AA one, I'm a DO speced DC atm. Is there a way to trade it in or do I need to just break it down and hope for MORE luck from Tiamat to get the one I want?

Is it worth in the meantime leveling up?

    Yes, it is worth leveling. You can change the effect with an Augmentation Cube. There process is listed in the wiki. However, I do not know if it has been implemented into the Xbox game yet, as I have not tried it.

    You need 4 cubes click on the off hand then on manage artifact. Will show 10 bonuses to choose from. You need epic level to change it.

    I have won 7 off hands and none have the same bonus believe it or not. And they only salvage for 1000 diamonds. So just level one till you get another with a bonus you want or just take it to epic and change it yourself.
