During a raid, myself and a trusty Guardian Fighter from my guild defended the NPC cleric in the Tiamat raid, by ourselves.
So far, we have done this on the left and right areas.
Basically, adds spawn, tank grabs agro, walks mobs to cliff and I give them the SunBurst Sparta treatment. Wash, rinse, repeat. Our timer completed first.
The other 23 players went on to struggle with the other 2 defense points.

On one run, we had another cleric managing the other side with 2 others.
The remainder piled center or lingered near the red line of slow death to get more people in place faster.
