as mmo makers its part of ur responsabiltiy to show players how to play ur content by live streaming or making a video a highlight on how to do tiamat or anything else in game that's new or players struggle on u want ppl to stop neglecting everyone that's what u need 2 do its not even the gs its people don't know what to do and also that gem u pick up should override a potion spot so ppl don't need to go inventory to equip it players eyes=work 90% gamers= lazy so yea u should imply that as well in a update b4 u get raged at more.dont listen to me tho idk what im talking about.

Any Old school MMO players with me on this? Please chime in!
Me and my son both have been discussing better tactics for Tiamat BUT like I told him, good luck getting anyone to listen because everyone has this "guide" on youtube that they think is the know all be all way to do it and everyone MUST follow that. This takes away from any innovation when everyone feels they must do the exact same things. This is why it would be wonderful to have guild or at least group queuing so you could actually experiment with new ideas.
And its the developers job to provide the content. Its the players job to figure out how to beat it. If not, whats the point of playing? I can just watch videos on the game and content and never play it.
I agree with everything you wrote, but at the same time we have to consider that there's a difference between PC gamers and Console gamers when it comes to cooperative gaming like MMO's and especially with a game that's "free."
The PC gamer who likes MMO's goes searching specifically for MMO's and kinda knows the lay of the land. That gives you a community of people who knows and cares about how thing works and who's interested in learning more.
But with Neverwinter on XBOX, a console that's not exactly full of free games, will attract alot of so called "casuals", smaller kids, people who wasn't looking for an MMO but "Hey, let's play it 'cause it's free!" who kinda sees the appeal in getting higher GS, cool mounts, cool equipment and has that "F everybody else, kick and loot, everything is mine mine mine!"-mentality etc, etc.
I haven't played the PC version, but i bet my HAMSTER that they don't have the same problems with simple logical things, coordinating, loot and boot and that over all disrespect and crappy attitude against each other.
So imo this makes a pretty big difference between the PC and the console. It's not the same user base and the console version might need to be a bit dumbed-down here and there.

Ugh, so much this. My guildmates and I were doing the exact same thing, discussing better tactics or other ideas I had seen on the forums but the end I realized the same thing - pointless. How are you going to manage to convince the entire room to follow your lead? They've likely seen the zerg work, that seems to be what everyone wants to do, so anything else is doomed to fail right? Just ask the know-it-alls in each instance, they'll tell you :P
That said, me and my guild have had decent luck getting a few of us in together for Tiamat lately so we're trying different things. The first inclination was to stick together, but now we've taken to splitting up. Each take different Dragon Souls so we damn sure know someone has one and stage one at each cleric so we can call out to each other if needing help.
