Can't send invites on custom chat chanel

Created a custom chat chanel for our guild officers to use. This is nessary since we now have multiple guilds in now and the in game guild officers chat only works for one guild. And since it is for our guild officers only I made it a private by invite only chanel. Only problem is, I can't send invites. It keeps saying I do not have the proper permissions. Yet the game shows I am the owner. One of me guildys also made a custom chanel and made it private and also could not send invites and got the same message.
