The current quest objective is displayed in-game inside the quest tracker in yellow text.

- Or a chain of events
Is there any way I can input my own custom white text?
In my shore map I have a lot of 'ambiguous' objectives that move the story along. The player must read the text, and complete a 'non-objective' task before moving to the next NPC..
Problem is, when people just follow the path and don't read any of the NPCs, it breaks the quest chain. They get confused/lost/too far ahead. I need to give the player more info either as a sub-objective, or with admin messages. =/
I don't want to do the latter, so I was hoping for the former?

For instance, in mine, I've got investigating three different underwater caves -- they can do them in any order they want, so I have all three story objectives side-by-side, but they must complete all of them before advancing.

Yep. Only thing to remember is they ALL have to be completed - it's not an OR situation. And they all show up at once on the players quest tracker.
