Pure ranks fixed?

So the patch notes said that Transcendent ranks of Vorpal and Terror were fixed. First off, has anyone tested this and can confirm? Not that I don't trust Cryptic, but I don't trust Cryptic.

How about the Pure ranks? I'd like to assume that if the Trans ranks were fixed, so were the Pure, but again...Cryptic.

    The Pure ranks got the same fix as the Transcendant.

    I've tested both pure and trans vorpal and terror post-patch and can also confirm they're fixed.

    Grinding and dungeon run are not mutual exclusive. You make it sounds like if you do one, you can't do another. There is no conflict between both activities. Some like to do one and some like to do both. Some like to do one more and do another one less.

    Hmmn I ran the ACT numbers yesterday on preview using a pure vorpal and then transcendent. I have 51.6 % crit chance and 87 %severity. I am specced Spellstorm.
    I did the test on the same 8 camps in WOD, the ones where you get a quest to gather thayan gear, using the same spell rotations with no buffs on. I am wearing the Lostmauth set.

    Transcendent did much less damage than pure. I am told that EncDps is what we should be comparing.

    I tested Pure Plague Fire and Pure Terror in Witch Fen (always the same monster mash), and in parallel on Preview and Life during the few days they've given to test it. In the ACT parses I found a 10-20% AvgDmg and Effectiveness increase for the direct comparison between Live (then unpatched) and Preview (then already patched).

    I also use them in game regularly and the effect seems to be observable under appropriate circumstances - health bar melt speed increasing visibly when I start hitting the reds, as opposed to slower speed before.

    So IMHO they seem to be working now.
