Pure and Trans Vorpal Debuff

Do the -2% defense and damage debuffs stack with each hit? Is there a max? How long does the debuff last?

    I don't believe it stacks, and in lasts a few seconds...

    I base this on the fact I use a Trans Virpal, and the Icon for it doesn't have any numbers next to it as I continue to hit things. When I stop it falls off 2-3 seconds later.

    The above are my observations thus far. :)

    it doesnt stack and doesnt have an internal cooldown. debuff lasts 3 sec

    I don't have the math to prove it, but I recently ugraded to pure vorpal and pure negation. My character seems significantly tougher for it. I'm curious how much better these are than the "greater" ones were--and if upgrading them later to Trans is worth it. I have a problem with tooltips, I don't find them reliable.
