Hmm 1m ad... if you don't have an epic mount, I'd get that instead. If you do PVE, yes. PVP, not so much.

IIRC, increasing the quality of a companion basically only raises its stats by 10%. IMO, you'd be better off increasing the quality of the gear and enchantments slotted into it, first.

It depends a bit how good equipped your companion is.
If we assume you have “second class” companion gear (not expensive avenger), lesser bounding runestones and rank 7 enchantments you have around 5913 additional stat points from your companion. The 15% for 1 million AD provides you with additional 886 stat points. That is better as an rank 12 dual event enchantment that would cost around 2.5 million AD.
So if you reached the minimum of gearing your companion up it is worth to spend 1 million.
Platypus wielding a giant hammer, your argument is invalild!

you are totally right ty. i m gonna do that way
Nope he is wrong. Your companion get 10% increased stats AND a new active bonus if summoned at legendary that grant additional 15% of his overall stat points.

I agree with bioshrike, for what it's worth, but it does depend on your current gear, level, etc. Lots of variable involved.
And I actually did upgrade my Ioun Stone to legendary, so I know what I am talking about . . . I think . . .

I HAVE A LEVEL 35 AND A LEVEL30 DONT SEE MUCH DIFERENCE BETWEEN THEM .What made the biggest difference was adding full loyal pieces in all 3 slots and rank 7s. Also eldritch or bonding rune stones give you even more of there stats and finally added jagged blade companion from pvp store gives big bonus to your summoned companion. when did this my toons survivability went up a big amount I can solo IWD now
I upgraded my erinyes to legendary since I'll prob keep her and it'll provide 15% to whoever is summoned currently I used bonding runestones on a lillend, or at least I would if I continued to run content. Doing it to the ioun stone would increase its base stats. though if you want to replace it then you have to pay again for the 15% active bonus.
First thing you want is full epics, min rank 7s, a lesser soulforged or better defensive enchantment, a reasonable weapon enchantment, fast mount, then possibly 5 decent active bonus companions.
In addition,
+ personal rings + more enchantments to the rings. If you use ioun stone, add loyal rings (or belt, ..) + more enchantment to the rings.
*** The game can read your mind. If you want it, you won't get it. If you don't expect to get it, you will. ***
I just wish some of them weren't so damn expensive!
I have a full set of Loyal Avenger items for my Ioun Stone. All they cost me was some time in the SCA Epic Dungeons, which I find can be more fun than playing the game >:)

I upgraded my Ioun Stone of Allure to legendary. In my opinion, it was worth it.
My opinions are my own. Yeah, sadly though I often have to mind the time I play. Whilst I do enjoy the SCA turn base play, I currently enjoy being in the game more! So looking at the Loyal Commander ones currently, as I have more than enough armour pen for my playstyle (even though the +outgoing healing is a waste. They are a lot cheaper though!
