Trying to get the right look for my CW - advice needed

I've been working on my CW ffor a short while now and I want to try to perfect the character. I've called him Merlin, and I would like to get some armour/equipment that befits him.

I see Merlin as a bit of a bumbly wizard, (not dissimilar to Merlin in Disney's The Sword in the Stone) so I've started with the arcane wanderers outfit, I have Archimedes as my owl companion, but i'm just wondering about the mount and the main-hand weapon. I was thinking of doing a transmute to the watering can, but i'm not sure at the moment.

I have him currently mounted on a Guard Drake, but this looks a little excessive. Maybbe the apparatue of Kwalish would be more suited?

Basically he would have raggy clothes, simple tastes but also be creative and inventive.

What suggestons to clothing/equipment do you have so I can perfect the look of Merlin?

I think you would have a much better success asking for looks in the roleplaying section.
