Artifact Weapon

Got my first weapon from my Dragon Chest from the campaign the other day and it wasn't the one I wanted. I read you can salvage them for a Shard of Dragon Forged Steel. I was thinking I'd keep the weapon I have, not bother upgrading it, continue to collect mats for another campaign chest, get a second weapon and salvage the first. Rinse and repeat until I have either 6 Shards and go buy the weapon of choice from the vendor, or randomly get the weapon I want.

    Yeah. That's basically how it works. It sucks. The sad part is, you will probably get the one you want 3 or 4 in and then sit on those shards the rest of your NW Career.
