Hello,
NCL is a great idea! it gives more purpose to pvp.
Ok, now for the issues with it:
1) It is very punishing, you get punished for some1 running with 0 tenacity, you get punished for afk players, and you get punished for people disconnecting or leaving. This should be fixed, in my opinion I would love to have an independent score and get judged on my own performance.
2) The way scores are calculated for ranking is a bit -very- too random. and gets frustrating when at top 15 pages, cuz at any moment you lose a match and there is a chance to be randomly thrown to page 26 for example(from experience). sometimes even winning a game doesnt save you from going backwards in ranks (i find this wierd and annoying), and winning in general is not as rewarding as losing is punishing. you go one step forward on a win and up to 10 steps back on a lose. I think someone better figure out a better scoring system, maybe make it a cumulative system? who gathers more score wins? idk, but the way it is currently working is not optimal.
3) General PvP problems affecting the NCL. I am talking about the random disconnects that kick every1 from an instance, it used to happen in pve instances, i think it was fixed for pve, and its on in pvp. sometimes it disconnects one person only and kicks him out when he log back in. I had a first hand experience with this issue, and its very frustrating, specially when you are trying to stay in top 40 of a class, but it wants to punish you and throw you out to rank 60. thank you very much! lost a chance on that mount! ill keep riding my slow horse!
4) You need to add the top 40 leader boards in-game. waited all monday for an update on the top 40 on the site with no results. so yea, need a current one in game.
5) If you want competition, let us know what exactly are we supposed to do! kills, deaths and assists affect the score, how do they affect the score? throwing the ball into the basket affects the score in basketball, but some shots are 2 points others are 3, so give us more details. games with vague rules tend to be manipulative and dishonest. so give us more info! let us aim at something here.
So, whole experience is a bit stressful and confusing, and disappointing. But, Its just the testing phase for this event, so no harm done, other than leaving me with a scar in my heart for getting kicked out of top 40 for problems with the game.
6) and It will be really great if there was a separate queue for NCL, i stumbled upon people who dont care about everyone elses plans and be like " I am just farming tokens, i will not waste my time fighting" and just sit afk on the spawn after earning 600 personal points. give tokens to everyone but let the ppl fighting for ranks queue in a separate queue? It just adds to the frustration when you got an afk a-hole in the party.
7) one more thing, Please rework the legion pvp accessories, make them a set with a set bonus or something, give them more stats, idk, or make them 50 tokens a pop, cuz they aint worth it for 1000 tokens.
Thank you for reading! keep working on this event! its a great idea! but needs improvement!
One dissapointment after an another. First of all it's the ammount of PvE players ruining both my and oposite team's matches. Then it's that legion gear, it's just...so useless I'd rather get blue tenacity rings instead? Oh and if somebody is wondering, that bullette we have in NCL shop is BOP. I actually endured this HAMSTER pvp balancing that much and bought one, at least I like the way it spins. So if you want to earn some AD, buy outfits or refinement caches instead.

Rather funny to see PvPers screaming for PvP-centered things, then turn around and grouse about the fact that PvEers "ruined" it.

I do agree with some of this. I have taken to PvP since the beginning of M6... to get gear. So please do not call me a "PvPer". I do enjoy it as I do all of this game. PvPers tend to be more 1 dimensional.
I have been trying to figure out their ranking system since before the NCL started. Someone posted what they believed to be the criteria for ranking, as plausible as it seemed I ignored it due to being long-winded.
Since M6 started I have been talking about making the leaderboard and ALL PvP glory and rewards based on point totals. That would reduce 'kill-fests' and the AFK bs.
I have worked my HAMSTER off for every stitch of equipment I have. I never sat at the fire, unless it was lag related.
I know a lot of PvPers would feel that unless you base it on kills and wins it is not worth using for scoring. Many of us know that actual work instead of camping for kills, is a sign of ability. Having the adaptability to play multiple roles with multiple builds is a sign of ability.
I was in a match last night, which was one of the most grueling and brutal 30+ minute matches, I have experienced. No one scored less that 10 kills, had less that 20 assists and no less than 5000 points. The ability, endurance and skill was visible everywhere. Our opponents came within 60 points, at the end.
My thoughts concerning this match was that EVERYONE that was in this match should go up in rank... whether they won or lost.

Ive enjoyed the matches myself, other then a few premades that crucified me.. I dont get this whole pve concept.. for the most part my elo rating is high enough not to see them I guess. I might have a scrub in a match every once in awhile, but its pretty rare for me.
Most of the time Im sitting in queues for 10-15 or minutes, when I get a match, typcial gear score appears to be between 2.5-3.4k give or take.
Every once in awhile I see a monster in the low 4s and a scrub in the 2k less department. Otherwise, if people have a enchant, some r8s, and pvp gear on, I believe they are truly trying. I dont get upset at them if the matchmaking gods, decide to put up the wrong opponents, in the limited amount of queued people.
Ive even won 2 4 vs 5s! Go figure! Lost one as well though.
Ive only felt once that I couldnt help my team.. and that was when the other team had 3 close to BiS tr/HR combo that completely shut down my DC.. nothing I could do, felt bad, but again, when Im perma dazed, there is literally nothing I can do. I ended up dropping the match, after we were down 300 points.

leaderboards is really strange. since page 20 to 200 or maybe more, all people have very similar statistic. someone who has the same number of kills as death is on the same page a someone with a triple more kills than death, dunno why. both can be same class and have win lose ratio 1:1

Its not based on just straight winning %, but that seems to be a high factor. I think it has some sort of elo tie in and maybe the rest of the stats as well. (as in kills, deaths, assists)
Im sure its not revealed as to prevent some people from manipulating it.
